I love Pure Pasty in Vienna. They have delicious authentic, British …

Service was helpful, the guy working the counter was descriptive and helped me with how the various pastys were made. Also, when walking in the amazing smells of all the workers in the back making food smelled incredible! I opted for some of nearly all their offerings of pastys.
A couple of days later I made the chicken masala for lunch. I used their directions for baking, not the microwaving to get it ready to eat. They were spot on and the pasty came our perfectly warmed up and ready to eat. The crust was outstanding! None of it was dry or tastless, the whole thing was flaky, perfect, buttery, and tasty! The filling was very nice, though it had no flavors that resembled Indian or “masala” to me, so I’m not sure what they consider masala, but that’s not a bad thing as the filling tasted great!
I’m looking forward to making and eating all the rest, I’m sure they’ll be great too!
This is a quaint spot I never expected to stumble upon.
My group also tried Pure Pasty-baked cherry Bakewell, which I hadn’t had from them before and it was great!
Parking is usually no problem.
Bloody amazing, better than a greggs back in England and quite the selection of British goods there like Fanta and sticky toffee pudding to skips and eccles cakes, so glad the wife brought me here even though it s over 50 mile away will most definitely be coming again. And very reasonably priced compared to other places.
They sell the most authentic British pasties.
My favorite is the vegan cheese and onion. Please don’t get scared about it being vegan because it is still delicious and melts just like real cheese. It is literally like eating a cheese and onion soup that is wrapped in fresh dough.
They usually have it frozen, but it only takes about 10 minutes for them to heat it up.
I love grabbing one of them in between teaching my piano lessons in my students’ homes in the area.
I am glad that they have many vegan options like the vegan cheese and onion, vegan samosa, vegan chicken BBQ, vegan taco, and so many more. They also have traditional meat versions as well.
Everyone should try to visit them. It will be like taking a trip to a local shop in London.
