Was here a week ago for the 2nd time and it was good. I like the 50’s diner decor and the food is good but not overpriced. Went at dinner time on a saturday and not too busy. worth giving it a try. Food is what you’d expect from a burger joint and made well not the typical prepackaged stuff.

Take me back in time! This place not only has the most amazing oldies theme, there are so many genuine vintage pieces that you can’t help but feel like you’re back in time. Let’s talk food, most places have the decor but not the food, this place had it all! Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Burgers were amazing, fresh cut fries, chicken fingers the kids absolutely LOVED! I had such a lovely experience here! A other major bonus, the cleanliness. A MUST visit if you’re from out of town and visiting!

I ordered on the phone, which is pretty quick upon picking up my order. It was ready. They told me about 10 minutes. I got to work and started eating my food and noticed that my fries are dry and the burger is still pink. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to go back to see if it can be fixed.

I heard about this restaurant from an old friend that was serving Royal Burgers. Well that’s a must try. I had the double Royal Buger. It was great. Probably much better burger than an actual RB. The RB sause them made really brought back old memories. I was a regular at the original restaurant. We went every Saturday.

This place is a definite trip down memory lane for Peterborough residents. The food quality is excellent and the pics are very reminiscent of times past. I highly recommend stopping by for a bite or a shake. You won’t be let down.

My husband, son and I had the pleasure of going to Apollo Grill a couple weekends ago, and I am so glad we did. My husband and I each had the B52 Bomber- A double cheeseburger between two grilled cheese sandwich buns. They were fantastic. Very heavy and cheesy but some of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had. Fries were fresh cut, and had the perfect crisp to them. I wish we had an Apollo Grill in Durham!

Easy going, casual place. Diner style place with very good burgers. Went 2 adults, 3 kids, came out satisfied with value for a price tag of around $100.
Products are fresh and meal is well balanced. Their Swiss Mushroom burger is excellent. The onion rings are ok (real onions, batter’s a bit thick for my taste).
Don’t miss out on their butterscotch shake, which is refreshing and tasty without being too sweet.

High quality burger. They grind steak to make their burgers! In their Cajun chicken burger, the chicken breast is huge and is high quality meat. You have to like the Cajun flavour to enjoy it though. It was a little overbaked. Even if you don’t like pickles, don’t remove them from this sandwich. It needs the refreshing flavour. If you must, then add a tomato. Fries are a tiny bit greasy. Huge fry portions. Two baskets of fries feed about 3-5 adults. A bit pricy of a place, but you get quality in their sandwiches. Kind service!
Retro style place. Bathroom has been repaired and redone. The previous review indicated they had a bathroom problem. After reading the owner’s response, I am adding that it was a temporary situation where a repairman accidentally put his foot through the ceiling tiles when he was working up in the ceiling fixing a walk-in cooler nearby.
