I’m an Argentine living in US, so I’m always excited when I find a place that truly represents our food and Familia Argentina absolutely does. The flavors are authentic, everything tastes homemade, and you can tell the food is prepared with real care and tradition, just like you’d expect from a good Argentine parrilla (the entraña was fantastic and perfectly cooked). I’m so glad I found this place. It’s a true hidden gem in Roanoke and the kind of restaurant you’re happy to discover. Roanoke is lucky to have it. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a try.

We had the most delicious dinner last night at Familia Argentina! We started with the side Tortilla de Papas with ham and cheese, it was heaven! Then we followed with two different selections of steak with french fries and salad. We can’t wait to return!

Our beloved local businesses are getting hit with “summer dash” promos that harm small businesses. Many have opted out of delivery due to this and it’s so sad. These promos are being imposed against local businesses despite it being an undue hardship & many never aware it would happen until the event began.

Today was my second time eating lunch here. I had the cheese ravioli with the pink sauce and the meat ravioli in pink sauce today. This sauce is incredible; both the cheese and meat ravioli are very tasty and cooked just right. I love the server/owner and knowing they are from Argentina and cook authentic food is very special. They are lovely people and the food and service is great and reasonably priced. I am a fan!

Easily the best empanadas I’ve ever had!!!! Definitely try a few different ones, you can’t go wrong, they’re all delicious! The service was fast and incredibly friendly. I split the Parrillada Argentina. The meat was cooked well and tasted very good. Will definitely be back!

My gf and I tried this restaurant for the first time. Every single dish was fantastic! Even cooking oil they used for fries was super fresh. I am not a big fan of deep fries because I do not like greasy aftertaste. However, it was very clean due to the such a fresh oil they used!!!!!!!!

Our new must when we are in Virginia. Everything was incredible fresh and delicious. Their milanesa was 100/10 my kid loved it and it was big enough for two. Their meat cuts are also stellar. Super recommended!

I knew as soon as I walked in the food was going to be amazing, or awful. It was awful.
The quality of the steak was subpar to put it plainly. And extremely overcooked. The tortilla de papa was decent enough, but I couldn’t get over how awful the steak was.
