Such a hidden gem. Everything was phenomenal. From the service to the food to the amazing wine tasting event I was able to join! Could not recommend this place more.

It’s not often I’m reminded of those special restaurant you would go to as a kid with your whole family for special events, Amoroma reminded me of just that! I can’t wait to take go back for that amazing ravioli.

Moved to Moraga from Lafayette recently and went for the very first time around 4 PM on a Tuesday. We were the only ones there. Very nice ambiance with a fancier side and a more casual bar side of the restaurant. The food was unbelievable and very delicious. Service kind and pleasant. We had the meatballs and polenta – highly recommend both! Reasonably priced for the quality and portion. We ordered a nice bottle of wine – ‘22 sangio from Umbria and had a few appetizers and very much enjoyed ourselves. They have a back room for private dining or groups and a nice outdoor patio as well which we would enjoy in the future during warmer weather. My only wish is that they would have a weekday happy hour M-Th with a few dollars off a cocktail or beer and maybe a few happy hour appetizers and then we wouldn’t normally have to go to Lafayette Park Hotel or batch and brine for their weekday happy hours which is our typical weekday happy hour escape. Bring happy hour to Moraga please!

Ristorante Amoroma is a gem in the town of Moraga. I recently attended one of their wine tasting events and was able to enjoy multiple different kinds of wine for a reasonable price. It was held in their lounge area that also offered a good variety of beer on tap. For Dinner, I ate the filet and pear salad, which have been added to my long list of favorite dishes from here. From the food to the wine to the staff, the experience here is high quality. I will continue to recommend this restaurant to my family and friends and I can’t wait for my next visit.

Had the chicken sandwich, my company had the meatballs, ravioli, and rockfish sandwich. All looked really good. The salad was fresh that came with the sandwiches. The bread was crisp and toasted perfectly. Portion sizes was a good amount of food. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Price point standard for the Bay Area.

The calamari is plentiful and delicious! The spinach salad is a little plain but very healthy. And the pasta dishes are great.

What a surprising treat. We try and support local businesses as much as we can so we decided to try Ristorante Amoroma. We arrived at 6:15 on Saturday and were immediately seated by a charming host. The food was delicious and the service fantastic, for a reasonable price. We paid $76 for 2 cocktails, 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. The only reason I didn’t give this restaurant 5 stars was not due to the restaurant but to the couple bringing a screaming toddler to a cozy dining establishment where it was clear couples appeared to be having “date night” or at the least an intimate dinner night out. This place is a must try but not for young children/babies in such close quarters. Lastly, a bonus, they offer a lovely brunch on Sundays. I am looking forward to trying out their brunch offerings.

I came here with my husband for a good Italian food (so we thought). We ordered a salad to share and we each had a pasta dish. I had the fresh fettuccine with seafood. My fettuccine noodles came waaaay undercooked. I asked the server if they could make me a new one because it just didn’t taste well…my server insisted that the noodles were cooked “al dente”, but trust me I know and can tell the difference between al dente and undercooked pasta noodles. She, the server took my plate and I’ve waited for 15-20 minutes (to be exact) for my new seafood pasta. OMG, to my surprise, they didn’t make me a new dish, they literally put my dish in a microwave and just heated it!!!! I could tell that’s exactly what they did because I had half eaten a shrimp and calamari from the old dish I had originally and they’re back on what’s supposedly my newly made pasta fettuccine with seafood!! And what’s worse was that my dish tasted nothing like how it was originally. I seriously felt like eating a chef boyardee straight out of the can food! I mean look at the photo! I told the server about it all she coulda ay was “I’m so sorry” oh and btw, here’s your check! I don’t think I can ever go back to this place.

Food was not fresh. Had no flavor. Service was terrible. Had to remind waiter of missing drinks. Never came to refill water or ice teas.
