Amazing BBQ from an old trucker. This place is great. I’ve had Carolina BBQ and this place is on par with the best of them. We had the Big Bubba (this time) with extra pulled pork and chicken. Normally it also includes brisket and ribs which are also delicious. We actually bought the rub he uses to add on some caribou I got this year because it’s so good.

Best BBQ I’ve had in Alaska and best pecan pie I’ve had in my life ! They gave our kiddos free mac and cheese meals. Cool and friendly owner too. Do yourself a favor and try their food.

I’m from Texas so I was super excited to see a BBQ place in Valdez. Certainly didn’t disappoint…I has the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious…as a bonus the owner sat and talked with us and gave us great tips of things to do in the area. Everyone should check this place out!!

DELICIOUS! Not on the “main strip” but so worth a try! We got the Big Bubba platter to try everything. My favorite was the pulled pork, chicken and rub on the ribs. But eveything was good! We’ll be back.

Great meal, love the drummies. Got a piece of the sweet potato pie, didn’t get to try it as I was a bit full. But pie must have been good as my blue heeler is picky and that go box was spotless.
