Great spot for breakfast burritos! I got the potato chorizo burrito which was the perfect size for me and had a good mix of potatoes, chorizo and the chili sauce. It also comes with a hot sauce to add to the burrito which made it even better. We ordered online for pick up and it was ready when we arrived. Everyone was really friendly and helpful as well. Id love to come back and try their main menu items!

So glad Anita’s is finally in Arlington! We are long-time customers at their other locations and thankful that we no longer have to drive for their delicious food. We enjoyed enchiladas and burritos with a side of chips, salsa, and queso. Food came out very fast and was amazing. Love the New Mexico flavor! We dined on the patio and service was perfect: wait staff were lovely and obviously well trained. Prices are reasonable and Anita’s offers specials for early diners. We are also super interested in their catering: prices seem great and would be perfect for a family takeout meal. Highly recommend!

Breakfast burritos from Anita’s. Anytime I hear that my ears perk up. These little breakfast burritos are the best way to start your day. They have a menu of items for lunch and dinner but I have literally only visited them for breakfast burritos. The prices have increased over the years so they are not as cheap as they once were, but they are still somewhat reasonable. The staff at this location is very friendly and move quickly to put your order together. The restaurant is clean and makes good use of the space.

In comparison to other fajitas I’ve had over the years, these lacked typical Mexican spices and flavors you find in Mexican cuisine. The fajitas themselves were well cooked but were very bland. In addition, there were very few vegetables included in my meal.
The refried beans were smothered with a tomato red sauce and the rice tasted like your typical Mexican rice.
The food wasn’t bad by any means but it was definitely overpriced for what you got.
We did a take-out meal. The service was excellent and I appreciated the packaging style of the meals. The overall vibe of the restaurant is great but I found the food disappointing.
The restaurant is conveniently located between the Clarendon and Virginia Square Metro stop. There is very limited paid street parking available. It is best to walk to this location.

We are so lucky Anita’s has come to Arlington! This is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I ordered the strawberry frozen margarita and the Taco Mexicano Combo, and both were fantastic! The prices are just right for the generous portions and the fresh, flavorful food. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to Angie and the rest of the staff, who were incredibly attentive. I can’t wait to come back soon!

This place is great for a fast casual vibe but also sit down service and a small bar you can sit at.
We got a bunch of appetizers to try, including the taquitos, guacamole, and some cheese dip.
They give you chips and salsa, and I felt that the salsa was a little thin and more liquid than salsa.
The service was great and I really enjoyed the bean dip. We got tacos and pupusa, which were all delicious and very much felt like Tex mex.
I thought everything was delicious and the prices were pretty good so I’ll definitely be coming back !

The legendary Anita’s finally has a location closer to my home! We went at 6 on a weeknight, and the food came out so quick! I have always loved their food from the original location, and the service was fast and friendly here. Highly recommend the breakfast burritos and pupusas, but everything is great. They have a happy hour until 6, and takeout is always a solid choice. Thanks to Raul and Valentina for taking care of us! So happy to have an Anita’s in Arlington!

I was so HAPPY to find out that there was an Anita’s in my area!!! I only discovered Anita’s when I used to work in Vienna back in like 2015. There is one litteraly down the street from my previous employer (NFCU). I ordered 3 BB special, 1 BB steak, 1 side of plantain, and 2x chicken empanada. The plantains came with 6 pieces, which a couple had a weird after taste. The empanadas were different. Didn’t know they used corn. The breakfast steak burrito had more eggs than steak. The BB special burrito is always good. Will definitely try other items on the menu but will not be ordering the breakfast steak burrito, plantains, or the empanadas.

Best breakfast burritos in the area, by far! Whatever combo of eggs and potatoes and chilies they use creates a texture and warmth and depth of flavor you just don’t get anywhere else. And the staff is so friendly and helpful! I used to sometime drive out to McLean for Anita’s, it’s so great having them right in Arlington now!

I love getting my breakfast burrito after traveling or scheduling chaos to “win the morning” back. I’ve enjoyed both the red and green chile, and it’s like I’m back in Santa Fe each time.
I hope one day they let you choose ‘Christmas Style’ with both chiles!
