I love recommending this establishment to others & meeting my clients here for the garden time and delicious eats. Immersing in the garden energy is the best! However, my visit there today was different than usual, and this is why I will extend gratitude once again to the front counter staff. My perception of the interaction was that the staff seemed to be a tiny bit disturbed by the special request made with my order-not sure why since swaps and extras end up on the bill. Never the less, because you are willing to go out of your way to accommodate your clientele’s request is what creates return customers, referrals and a positive energy in your establishment. I am grateful for the accommodation of my special request. Flexibility and giving is what the world needs more of, so thank you for your effort to occasionally meet someone else where they are at. ☮

The Garden Market is a charming place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Staff was friendly; the bakery items I had were good. The hot chai latte was excellent. Nice gift shop with bottled honey and other items for sale.

Stopped here on the way back from SB…This place is a local hidden gem off Santa Claus lane that’s been serving up breakfast, lunch and bakery items for years. It’s still just as delicious as I recall. Order at the counter and be served on a delightful flowering back patio. I had the albacore tuna salad on poppyseed bread and companion had 1/2 BLT and caesar salad combo. It was a bit pricey but everywhere post covid is so that’s just the new reality. The food was fresh tasty and portion sizes are generous. Next time you’re on the 101 outside Carp visit this beachy laid back village strip where the Garden Market is located.

I went with a group of 40 seniors, the place had known about us coming by 1:30pm. First, they didn’t have enough tables available for us & 2nd, they didn’t have any of the sandwiches we had prechosen ready. I waited for my vegetarian avocado sandwich for almost an hr.& by the time I got it, the avocado was practically none… I went to get coffee & 3 out of the 4 containers were empty, no half & half neither. Their “special” ice tea was also gone & so was their lemonade… such a bad experience
