This Subway still has the chomp salad that is really good. They also have friendly staff members that work there. We drive from Belvidere to just eat at this Subway instead. Food is great! We highly recommend this Subway.

Typical cheap franchisee. Doesn’t participate in most of the company promotions. Doesn’t accept company coupons. Doesn’t accept company gift cards. Doesn’t participate in any of the deals the company promotes or advertises. The regular pricing for sandwiches at this locations are much higher than the normal/standard pricing. The franchisee also doesn’t follow the exact Subway sandwich plans set by the corporate office. This locations “skimps” on ingredients and puts much less than what the manual calls for.
Don’t waste your money with a greedy franchisee. I’d rather see this location (and many of the other locations in the area) permanently close than continue ripping people off by not participating in advertised company promotions and skimping on ingredients/product.

Nice enough staff and the building is pretty clean but they don’t accept ANY coupons. That’s not even the worst of it though. Ever since the new management took over about 5 to 6 years ago, the amount of veggies they decide to put on a sandwich is incredibly scarce. I’m vegan so I just have all veggies on my sandwich so it sucks that they have an annoying tendency to add a pinch of each vegetable on it. Like really? So I’m paying for an 8 dollar sandwich with no meat and no cheese and barley any vegetables either? Even when I say “add extra” they still put on the smallest amount possible. It’s quite irritating.

They barely put any meat of my sandwhich I thought it was just the once so I went back. Again barely anything on my sandwich. It tastes like bread only . I won’t be going to this location unless I am desperate also they don’t take coupons

When they charge you the original price vs honoring their sandwich of the day special. When I asked them about it after I got my receipt they said ohh I am sorry. Whats the purposes of promotion sandwiches of the day if you are charging the original price. RIP OFF

I came in on Saturday morning at approximately 9:10 AM. The store was not ready to operate despite being open. I was given the worst steak egg and cheese breakfast sub that I am ever had at any subway. The main toasting unit was not ready so the guy just threw my sandwich in the microwave. Then when we got to the cash register, they had not counted their drawer in order to start the day and after taking too long to count their money, I just gave them eight dollars and left with the sandwich. I was supposed to have chips and drink as well, but I didn’t take those. Not only did I overpay, but they got a tip for such lousy service. I know nothing will be done to correct this because I live over an hour away and was in the area for work. But I want my experience to be public because this was terrible.

Went there hungry and ordered a sub and tried using my new debit card that works everywhere, there machine wasn’t working to take card and I just deposited all my money into my account he asked if I have cash I said no and I’m not paying a fee to use the atm so I left hungry and that perfectly good food went to waste. I couldn’t understand the cashier I will never go back there u till they get there stuff fixed and somebody that u can understand!

Friendly experience. This place is my go to if I don’t pack a lunch. Do pretty much every day, haha. Come in enough and they’ll start to remember your order. Only negative thing I have to say is they do skimp a bit on the veggies. Other than that, great subway.

No Subway in DeKalb, IL honors any coupon or promotion ever. It’s called “customer appreciation” but looks like in India it doesn’t exist. So I take my money to other business. This is how it works: I go and spend my money, over and over again, but one day you charge me only 50% just to say “Thank you!” like Pizza Hut, Burger King, McDonald’s, Domino’s, etc. Not in any Subway in DeKalb, IL, they’re too greedy to give you a brake and that’s why my family didn’t go to any DeKalb Subway for more than 3 years.
