Our wedding at Spyglass was everything we could have hoped for and more. Set right on the coast, the venue gave us breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the rugged Oregon coastline, creating the perfect backdrop for our special day. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of natural beauty. The banquet and reception areas were spacious and elegant, and were the perfect spaces for our guests to eat and socialize at the event. The food was absolutely delicious, with our guests still raving about the quality of each dish, especially the salmon with that beautiful sauce. Literally above and beyond.
What truly set Spyglass apart was the outstanding service. The entire staff was incredibly attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of so we could truly relax and enjoy ourselves. A special thank-you goes to James, who went above and beyond to make all of our dreams come true. His professionalism, warmth, and dedication were unmatched, and his guidance throughout the planning process made everything feel effortless. Spyglass was more than just a venue—it was the heart of our celebration, and we’ll always be grateful for the memories we made there.

If you are looking for fancy cocktails and outstanding pizza don’t look anywhere else! This hidden gem has an awesome friendly staff and the drinks were very obviously thought out. The Rings of Saturn cocktail and Pistachio Gimlet were some of the best drinks my partner and I have ever had. This one of a kind tiki bar is tucked away in the woods with panoramic ocean views, a pool table & even a tv for sports season. What more could you want!? So glad we stopped by and can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

Fantastic views from the restaurant and bar. The pizza is great. The burrata appetizer should not be missed. Matt is fantastic and makes an incredible cocktail. Try the pistachio gimlet. So good.

The milkshakes are really good and their fries are amazing! Chicken cutlet for the chicken and chips was a tad dry, but still good. Would definitely come back! ☺️ Also, it’s behind a hotel and it almost seems like it’s private property, but the restaurant is open to the public. Beautiful view of the bay! And they have binoculars at the tables which was really nice, our kids had fun with them.

This was our first time, and we were not impressed at all, first no one at front to greet you. No sign to just seat yourself . Another couple had been standing for a while not knowing what to do. Finally someone came out and said sit where ever you want, so we did, there were two people working and it was if we did not exist .We watch as others arrived and went through the same atmosphere that we had. It was if they really didn’t care if anyone was there and were in no hurry to help. We ordered our food and my wife had a BLTA sandwich there was only a tiny little pieces of ovocado and the pieces were just disgusting . We told the waiter and she just said she would get new ones. My wife had eaten half the sandwich by the time she finally came back, probably because all of ovocado’s were bad , the new pieces that were still not good. We could not believe anyone would put something this bad into the sandwich but they did. The service was terrible and the fish and chips were average at best. They did comp the BLTA but unfortunately my wife got diarrhoea from the food. We will never go back this this Dump

If you visit Devil’s Punchbowl and want something a bit more upscale than Mo’s, take the 3 minute drive up to Spyglass for some amazing views, drinks and food! Matt the mixologist makes *the best* piña colada I’ve ever had (on the rocks, but trust me), and Jim & co serve up some delicious food with great portions. If you haven’t visited this part of the coast before, do yourself a favor and head down to the beach at Otter Crest (which gives you access to Devil’s Punchbowl at low tide). Once you’re done exploring, head up to Spyglass for drinks and food for the perfect Oregon Coast day.

It is more of a dining room for the same complex with a reduced menu, and the surroundings are very beautiful.

Same here several years ago and it was the best on the Oregon coast. This time though was a different story all together. The view was excellent as always the food looked very good the french fries with the fish and chips were burnt and cold and the clam chowder was the worst I’ve ever eaten at any restaurant I miss the way it used to be I doubt very much if I will return but otherwise had a good time.

They’re currently open Thursday through Sunday so we got in a visit our first night here at Otter Crest since it won’t be open the rest of our stay here. My husband had the ribs and said they’re the best he’s had yet. Son had the fish and chips, daughter and I shared the clam strips, and we all had the crab and shrimp pizza (which was amazing!) The service was great. We enjoyed our visit here. Prices were good too.
