I happened to be in the area and looking for breakfast. As one of the only spots open at the time (9 AM), I decided to give the place a shot. I’m glad I did. Ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and habanero salsa on the side. Cheese was nicely melted, chorizo seasoned well and the burrito nicely wrapped. I will definitely be back.

This cozy hole-in-the-wall surprises with its ” little bit of everything ” menu and Mexican twist that brings unexpected flavor to familiar favorites. The portions are generous, the vibe is laid-back, and the staff serve it all with a smile. It’s not fancy, but it hits the spot when you’re craving comfort food with soul.

Oh my goodness, I don’t know how to start but if you ever had thoughts on coming here, def should go!! I saw a tik tok video of someone saying this is the best brunch spot and I’ve been curious since and because I always pass it by. Today was the day I decided to check it out and oh boy, it was amazing! I got their green chilaquiles and the serving was bountiful and the taste was so good. I love my chilquiles to have a bit of crunch and these had them. Let me say their chicken had taste and great seasoning too! The servers were nice and overall the atmosphere is pleasant. I love how vibrant it is with the wall paintings and it wasn’t so overwhelming in terms of music

Look forward to coming here again!

Edit:
Came back again to celebrate a job offer! Still the best chilaquiles I’ve had. They can customize the spiciness too!

Mom and Pop type of restaurant with an old type vibe and atmosphere feels very 80’s.

The menu offers a variety of different dishes. The food is delicious and well-made.

Service is a bit off at times.

I ordered an Asada burrito and ask the lady if the meat had flavor. She said yes, very good. The presentation was great. Food had no flavor. The other person’s meal had flavor and looked good. I had the fried zucchini and it was great. That is the only reason I gave it 3 stars.

Ordered the shrimp scampi for lunch. The garlic bread was so soggy. The amount of food given for the $24 I paid was not worth it. The pasta was extremely sour. Disappointed!

Great food, some of the best chiliquiles I’ve had in So-Cal. I’ve had plenty of chiliquiles from a bunch of other restaurants and they all were bad but so far this place is one of the handful of restaurants that makes em like they were homemade.

Trust me, I’ve traveled from Fontana to eat here.

08/29/24: Little hidden gem & it did NOT disappoint! My husband & I went in for dinner @ 7:30pm, We both had the shrimp scampi, and garlic bread (included with dinner)! Our waiter was super friendly, courteous, checked on us continuously, & the wait for our food was not long at all! The shrimp scampi was soooo delicious… My husband said it was the best he’s had (and we are constantly trying out new places! We’ll be back FOR SURE!!

I have ordered takeout from this neighborhood spot a few times now, and I am consistently impressed. The Philly Steak sandwich is packed with flavor and always hits the spot, and the chicken quesadilla is just as tasty, perfectly grilled and generously filled. It is great having a reliable restaurant like this close by, especially when you are craving something satisfying and well-made. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you are in the area. Solid food, friendly service, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood!
