Where do I begin?! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with warmth and love. The place is elegantly set up. Could see really nice events being hosted here
The food was phenomenal! I had the fish and shrimp with grits(substituted for mashed potatoes). The food was so flavorful, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Every element on the plate worked together beautifully. I added a side of Mac and cheese and was not disappointed whatsoever. The cornbread was also delicious! All in all, 100/10 experience. I’d gladly come back when I’m in town. I’d recommend anyone in the area to try this place! I’ll be back

First off our waitress Kenadi was amazing! She was so kind and attentive! Our food was delicious! I even ordered a drink that was not on their menu, an old fashioned, and they made it perfectly! We will definitely be back! I ordered the fish, shrimp & grits plate (one dinner plate – I added a side of macaroni & cheese), and my husband ordered the fish plate with two sides (spaghetti and macaroni & cheese). Delicious!! Great portions too! I left with leftovers, but my husband devoured his entire plate!

Soul Ties is a whole experience, not just a meal.
I took my mom here and everything from start to finish was on point. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the music was dope, and the staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming.
The soul food was amazing — full of flavor and clearly made with love. You can tell they care about the quality of the food and the experience they give their guests.
If you’re looking for great soul food, good vibes, and top-tier customer service, Soul Ties is definitely worth the visit. We’ll absolutely be back!

Based solely on food, this was wonderful. I love home cooked southern food. The menu needs updating for looks but what came out was fabulous.
They haven’t been in business long but this needs to be supported. Four of us went. My wife ordered wings with sides of green beans and a waffle with syrup. Yes, a waffle and it paired together nicely.
I ordered pan fried pork chops with 2 sides of Gouda grits and rice with gravy. Maybe the best grits I’ve had and I love grits. Though the pork chops were thin, they were tasty with a Cajun gravy added.
The decor and table service need some updating but I wanted to be impressed by the food and was.
We all loved it and agreed we will return.

Stopped in right at open. Didn’t take long for others to trickle in. Big open space for large groups and a full bar for special drinks.
Staff are attentive and great at explaining the menu items.
Food was great. My wife got the shrimp, fish & Grits and I grabbed the Chicken Plate with Collard greens and Mac& Cheese.
Fish and shrimp were perfect and the chicken breading had a great seasoning even before the buffalo hot sauce.

So I will start by saying the ambiance was beautiful. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Mac n cheese was a touch of home very delicious. The dressing and cabbage just missed the mark for me. Turkey wings were great. The drinks were a bait n switch just from not receiving the same size offered in the photo especially with the price they cost. However overall the place is a awesome addition to the city!

This place is amazing. The food was amazing and fresh. My man and I loved their food. The vibe in the building is nice. As soon as you walk in there’s music playing and laughter. The people were very nice and friendly. The other customers were very nice and funny. Me and my man will be coming back very soon. I love a black owned business. Thank you.

My boyfriend took me out for Sunday dinner at this establishment. The food is top tier and the owner Lindsey was very welcoming and very tentative with all of the guests within her establishment. Our waiter greeted us with a smile and she was very soft spoken and polite. She would take the time to let us know about the weekly specials. The food was sooo good that my boyfriend made sure to give Lindsey a big hug. Super huge thank you to Lindsey and her daughter Kennedy, y’all put every ounce of love in this food. P.S. Fiona and Clarence will be back VERY soon. ❤️
