I like to rate burgers by the best experience I. With the quality of the burger comes the experience and the facility serving the burger. Digital signature was showing setup overlays and looked like it was not running optimally. The kitchen feels like a cage instead of an inviting burger grill. Odd feeling overall.

I have been to a few dives and other areas that are not dives whatsoever. I find the price comparison is aligned with the experience of having a burger inside the burger joint. This place is not a dive but you get a weird vibe.

With that, i like the freshness of the burger but its not a $13.00 dll experience. The fries are separate and the cheapest option is $4.00 dlls. I was impressed with the flavor of the truffle oil and Parmesan on the fries but again, those will run you closer to $7.00 dlls. I paid over $30.00 but the experience tasted like $12.00 dlls.

Just my opinion but if you are out there looking for a good reasonable smash burger, this is not the place. Its a mid location with a high priced menu that does not equal a 30 dll meal.

Don’t get me wrong, I finished the burger and it was good but not 15 dlls good. A combo option or lunch only option would be nice. One that includes fries and a burger for a reasonable price.

Accessible parking since its in a small shopping center area. Their customer service was on point. Again, their seating area feels like a cafeteria for the money spent. Maybe some bar chairs with high tables or better vibes would be good. I feel that anyone that pays more than the norm would expect more. Again just my opinion. Happy smash burger hunting!

See the pictures for the vibe. Floor tiles are broken or loose. All the lights are off and we only have the big windows as a source of light.

Crispy patty melt sandwich is not bad at all.

Buffalo chicken mac and cheese wrap is kind of useless. The macaroni is bland and overcooked. The tater tots are just tater tots. The chicken tastes good but you’re hardly getting any. You’re mostly paying that price for a bunch of carbs. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The brisket fries taste nice and so does the barbecue sauce, but my order came with the brisket piled on top of cold fries. It’s as if they cooked the fries first and let them cool while preparing the rest of my order. The fries have little to no flavor or salt.

This place is a hit or miss. I don’t know how I feel about the pricing, taking everything into consideration.

My wife and I went there to just grab a burger, but we were blown away!! It was so tender, cooked to perfection, and tasted absolutely delish. Have you ever ate somewhere, and thought I can cook this at home better. Well this aint one of those places. It was that good. Food came fast, price was good, place was nice, and food was excellent. Thank you and I will be back with friends. Cheers!

I was happy with Burger, it was super tasty. My garlic fries were decent, but not great. Seating was plentiful. Price was on the high side, but not crazy.

Urban Skillet has completely ruined every other burger for and I mean that as the highest compliment possible. These aren’t just burgers, they’re the best rated LA burgers now brought to Riverside, and the hype is 100% real and deserved.
What sets Urban Skillet apart before you even take a bite is the integrity behind the food 100% non-GMO, grass-fed, organic, and halal. You’re not just eating something delicious, you’re eating something you can feel genuinely good about. And the flavor? Every single item on the menu is addictive. I have yet to find a miss. The side sauces alone are absolutely elite!!!!

The kind you think about days later and use as your excuse to come back sooner than you planned.
Knowing that this place started from humble beginnings , literally setting up tents and grew into the brick and mortar gem it is today in Riverside makes every bite taste even better. You can feel the passion, the pride, and the hard work baked into everything they do.
The staff moves at the speed of light, endlessly accommodating and genuinely friendly every single time. I’ve dined in and DoorDashed multiple times and it’s always amazing, that consistency is rare and speaks volumes.
Urban Skillet deserves every single star and more. A true Riverside treasure.

Stopped by today because I had an urge for a big greasy burger. Got their original smash urger which was really tasty! The staff was nice and helpful and overall it was a really great experience. Also they have tater tots! It’s not cheap, but nothing is these days it’s a bit more than a fast food burger but much much tastier.

On Thanksgiving eve, we decided to explore the flavors of halal cuisine at the Urban Skillet restaurant. Excited to try their diverse selection, we ordered a variety of their halal burgers along with some loaded fries. While I must say that I’ve experienced better beef burgers elsewhere, the ones we had at Urban Skillet were still quite satisfactory and had their unique appeal.

What truly stood out during our visit, however, was the quality of service we received. Anna, our server, made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked in. Her friendly demeanor and accommodating attitude made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and it definitely enhanced our overall impression of the restaurant.

I randomly found this place on maps while looking for burgers. Didn’t know it was smash burgers til I got there. It was pretty slow inside, so I wasn’t sure how the food would be.

The burgers we got (smac and cheese, truffle) were bang on good. One of the better smash burgers I’ve had. The Mac was good and was held in place by a fresh fried onion ring. The cheese melded into the double patties so well, thick and juicy and flavorful. Definitely would get it again.

The buffalo fries were a bit heavy on the buffalo sauce (more vinegary than I’d like) but overall decent. Fries were fresh, Nashville chicken was juicy (could use more heat). Might try a different fry next time.

The cashier and cook were very nice. Cook gave a good rec for the burger. And the food came fast.

The price is on the higher end. Each burger ALONE was $15-16 before tax. The place I compare smash burgers to is GoGo smash burger (now closed dang) – $5-7 for a burger and delicious. It is pricier, but still good. If the burgers were a few bucks cheaper, then definitely worth it.

Definitely worth a stop if you’re craving a smash burger in the area.

Honestly, unfortunate because I was excited that it was halal. But my friends don’t speak the language and ordered something but got something they didn’t expect. When we tried to get something else they said no and that we would have to pay for something else. Terrible customer service, and their mac and cheese wrap is literally the weirdest thing to exist.
