We stopped by this past Saturday around lunchtime and were surprised to find the place completely empty. I love pizza steaks so hubby and I ordered a whole Rocky Balboa to split and an order of fries. The fries came out first, the portion was large but the fries looked and tasted like they had been re-heated, they definitely didn’t taste like the fresh cut boardwalk fries on the menu. The sub was overflowing with steak but the roll definitely needed to be toasted in order to accommodate the marinara sauce that made it literally impossible to eat the hoagie without a fork and I honestly couldn’t taste any mozzarella or parmesan, probably should have substituted with sharp provolone in order to taste the cheese (after trying to eat the messy sub with a fork I ended up boxing up over half of my half of the sub and took it home for our golden retriever). They don’t have fountain soda so the only option is bottled beverages from the cooler which weren’t very cold. The light in the ladies room was very dim and overall not very pleasant and the door leading to the back door had a huge gap allowing for cold air to constantly flow into the restaurant. All the pre-cut items in the cooler (roasted peppers, onions, mushrooms) did not appear to be very fresh nor did the salads so I’m guessing this place is not very busy. Unfortunately, you need more than a lot of meat on your sub to bring people back so we won’t be returning.

Another hardy Oxford cheesesteak. I got the John Wayne. It was good but I think I wish I got the Rocky Balboa. The Rocky Balboa came with the homemade sauce. The homemade salads in the deli case look good and I’m assuming the homemade sauce on the Rocky Balboa was good. Nice knowledge grill man. He tried to reassure me that I made a good choice by picking the John Wayne. The John Wayne came with barbecue sauce and bacon. John Wayne is a good sandwich. I think the barbecue sauce and bacon made it feel a little hamburgery. Nice little place, good overall experience.

This is a little cheesesteak shop up in Oxford that I’ve gone to a few times when the area. You can find them in a strip of shops near next to the Walmart. This location has been open about 5 years now. I know they used to have another location as well, but not sure if that one is still around.
I’m pretty basic with my chessesteaks. I order with grilled onions and provolone. The sandwhich is solid and easy to hold. The meat is also very tender without being greasy. There’s plenty of it piled up in the roll. I’ve seen on the counter they also make their own homemade sauces and jam. I’ve been thinking of picking up a sauce to try just haven’t done it yet.
Servers have always been friendly when I’ve visited to. Not much else to say, its a solid cheesesteak and definitely worth giving a try.

Food was good, steak was better than Charlie’s Subs. But at the same time more could of been done with the steak as it was good but no real seasonings and flavor

Liked the place is a small restaurant in Pennsylvania border , the food is great and the attention of the staff is what it makes this restaurant even greater. 5 stars

Great food and extremely nice people. We ordered two Italian Subs, A Rita Roast beef and an appetizer(very good.) In addition we were offered a free sample of scallopini, which was very good! I’m originally from the Philly area and the food at “A Taste Of Philly” took me back! I will be returning.

So I’ve been in the shop any times picking up for Door Dash and I’ve heard great things from family. I always have to wait for the food, which I did again tonight, probably an addition 15 minutes past the time I was told. They were busy, I get that. But once I got home, my sandwich was incorrect, which is disappointing. I ordered the pumped up chicken parm, which is $2 more because it has mozzarella sticks on it. Alas, my sandwich was mozzarella stick-less. My husband’s sandwich was really good, and mine was good too, just not what I ordered. I don’t mind having to wait for my food if the place is busy, but I would at least hope that the order is correct. We will probably try it again, because there were other things on the menu that looked good, but I’ll definitely go in with some reservations.

First time going here. I ordered online and it said it would take about 35 minutes which was fine. Except it took an hour and 15 minutes. When I first walked in, I gave them my name, and they said it would be a couple more minutes. I didn’t find out until I asked that the had just put it on the grill (45 minutes after I was greeted) I waited inside, where it was extremely hot, and there seemed to be no air conditioning. When I got the food, it was wrong. I ordered two cheese steaks and an order of fries. The fries had ranch on them (I asked for no ranch) and the other cheese steak was wrong. The one gentleman taking orders was nice, but it’s just not enough for me to want to come there ever again.

They were out of a lot of food. Our cheese steaks were not at all a real taste of Philly. The fries and mozzarella sticks were trash. The store is a wreck on the inside. 50 for 2 cheese steaks fries mozzarella sticks and two drinks. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
