Wow! This food was so great minus the coleslaw. I stopped in late, on my way home, for the shrimp platter and I was surprised on how fresh & tasty it was. Even the low price for big platter(2 side) was unexpected. The restaurant/bar was actually open later than advertised on a Friday. The outside looked dark and inside had the feel of one of those dirty New Orleans bar but didn’t look dusty. Staff was very friendly and inviting. They even had a variety of po-boy sandwiches. I’m going back again for the oyster po-boy.

Had fun sharing this meal with my family. The food was so good and the staff was very friendly. They didn’t seem to be bothered by our large group. This will be on our list of places to return when we visit Raleigh in the near future
