New to Bayfield, and 1st time at the only real restaurant in the Bayfield neighborhood. Did not disappoint. Made a reservation. Place is a house converted into a restaurant. My Ribye steak was perfectly cooked and so juicy and tender, and that marsala mushroom sauce on the steak OMG! My wife’s pasta dish was also soooo delicious and flavorful. The dessert was an amazing end to my pallet. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Hats off to the chefs.

The Mill Street Bistro is Bayfield’s solution to fine dining. It’s nice to have a classier option in such a small town. The food is delicious and they have a rotating menu to keep things interesting. The environment is classy and relaxing. It’s a great little date night spot.

This was our second visit in a week. A fantastic venue for a small community. Met the owners who are personable, welcoming and gracious. Kelsey has a great sense of humor & the ideal personality to serve a discerning clientele. I initially ordered the ribs (one of the 3 entrees on that week’s menu). They were out and substituted a delicious ribeye served on a bed of mashed potatoes, gravy & kelp. Started the meal with a bowl of clam chowder and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our first visit was just as satisfying and demonstrated their consistency and reliability. Don’t miss the Mill Street Bistro if you’re in the area.

What a wonderful place! My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with dinner and the food and ambience were amazing. We had calamari and homemade bread for an appetizer which was wonderful. Our entrees were steak tacos and seared scallops with mushrooms and sweet potatoes and a delicious sauce. For dessert, we had creme brûlée with fresh raspberries. For drinks, we had a pale ale and a mojito. We had an amazing time! Thank you for everything!

This is a cute, relaxing, well designed, small town restaurant. Nothing lost on the quality of the menu offerings. We started with drinks, a beer & G&T. I have to say this was the best G&T I’ve ever had. We ordered the beef sliders and the stuffed pepper dishes. Both were delicious. Then we ended with blueberry bread pudding topped with ice cream. The portion was huge (good thing we shared), and was delicious also. This is a wonderful, small town bistro you should not pass up.

We are regulars and I just can’t say enough good things about this place. We are fortunate to have this restaurant in our area – could it be the best restaurant in the entire 4 corners region? We have gone one every other month or so the past 3 yrs since moving to Durango and have never had a disappointing dish, meal, or experience. Last night, we took friends for the first time and I think they were equally impressed. It’s always fun to peek at the season and rotating menu every week, and I appreciate the fact that they have a focused menu but execute each dish to perfection. Highly, highly recommend – can’t want to go back, yet again!
