We love J’s, we come once a week for breakfast and are looking forward to trying dinner. Breakfast we usually order chicken fried steak or corned beef hash. Both of which are homemade and delicious! They have a wonderful lunch menu as well, I’ve had a burger with fries and it was awesome. Great family restaurant in a small town with delicious ho.emade eats.

Hidden Gem! This little dinner in a strip mall could stand proud even if it was in New Jersey! ( capital of dinners). The food was excellent and portions were real. Service is friendly and fast . Feels like you are in her kitchen . My breakfast sandwich was AMAZING!

Wonderful find in Tehachapi. Great food, outstanding service. My omelet was delicious – asked them to hold the hot dog and got myself the best chili omelet! Hubby’s pastrami was outstanding!

We planned a day trip to Tehachapi; after doing a Google Maps search, we found J’s Hideaway Tehachapi. We got there 30 minutes before they where to close. We walked in, were greeted warmly, and were shown to a table by the window. When we got there they had several people at tables. Our waiter greeted us again, and we placed our order. The food came out fast and hot. We had a great experience; the food and the staff made it a fun and relaxing experience. We will definitely be back at J’s Hideaway!!
