We happened across this great locally owned restaurant last time we passed through Sheridan. When we pulled into town this time, we remembered it and went back. All of the food, including sandwich bread, soups, and desserts are made from scratch. The menu is creative, and the service makes you feel like family.
In addition to dine in options, they also offer homemade “take and bake” meals, as well as whole pies and other desserts.
Check them out! You won’t be disappointed.

We just had a box lunch provided by our tour bus. They came from the Sagewood North Cafe.
It was absolutely wonderful. The sandwiches were delicious, it had a dessert and chips and an apple. My wife and I loved it and it filled us up enough where we probably won’t even need to eat dinner.

My wife and I were on a Caravan Tour and it just so happened Designing Dinners got the call for 49 box lunches. Let me tell you it was probably the best box lunch we have ever had. Sandwiches were fresh and very tasty, we got chips, soda, an apple and a chocolate chip cookie! Very impressed, and when I come back to Sheridan, Wyoming, we will be stopping in to say hi to Cathy!

Designing Dinners is my go-to lunch spot. I have eaten so many meals, sandwiches, and daily specials over the years from Designing Dinners, and they have all been amazing. Service is friendly and quick.

Just tried Designing Dinners for the very first time today. Came in early, about 10:30 and spoke with several of the staff. We was invited to go ahead and sit down and look over the menu and they would be with us shortly.
Our server was Sue and she was extremely nice, helpful, professional (yet personable) and knowledgeable. We ordered the Bronco on Dill Wheat and a Garden Gourmet. No soup or salad. We had coffee and hot tea. For desert, we each ordered slices of Blueberry Crumb Pie. We were going to have a slice of Cheesecake, but they did not offer plain Cheesecake.
They also do not do French Fries, they do not have a deep fryer. So chips are main option basically, with one or two others.
The place was quiet, clean and well taken care of. We never felt ignored or unimportant as customers. The staff was very attentive in all respects.
This restaurant is no more expensive than any other eatery in Sheridan, for the most part. You do have more expensive restaurants, but this is the norm price wise.
Note to the owner(s), hold onto Sue, she’s definitely a keeper! One of the best servers that we have ever had the privilege of being served by.

Amazing place we stopped at on our road trip. Great food that was freshly made that day and not at all heavy. Fresh and clean. Nearly everything there to order is made onsite and the same day. Will be marking this place down as a go to if we are in the area.
