I am extremely impressed by this sushi. I tend to eat sushi pretty often and this place is in my top 3 of Bellingham. The people are wonderful, and the food is delicious. The chef’s take their time so every dish is perfect and uniform. The sushi comes on a beautiful bed of carrot, witch serves not only as elegant presentation, but also an easy palette cleanser if you order different types of rolls like myself. I can’t wait to see this place grow even bigger!

I had the most incredible experience at Rock & Roll Sushi in the Bellis Fair Mall food court! I decided to order the Kani Roll, the Rock & Roll combo, as well as a few other rolls and even tried the salmon wok. I was blown away by the quality of the food and how friendly and nice the staff were.
Despite being in a food court, Rock & Roll Sushi can definitely hang with other sushi places with the quality of their food. The Kani Roll was utterly delicious. Its thier take on a California Roll, which elevated the flavor to a whole new level. The Rock & Roll combo was also fantastic.
The staff was incredibly friendly, and their service exceeded my expectations. They made sure everything was perfect, and it was evident that they genuinely cared about making sure that I had the best dining experience possible.
Overall, I highly recommend Rock & Roll Sushi to anyone looking for excellent sushi in the Bellis Fair Mall food court. Despite being located in a casual dining area, the quality of their food and service can definitely hold up to the highest standards of sushi restaurants. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll undoubtedly be returning to Rock & Roll Sushi to get my sushi fix!

Oh boy !!!!!! I am telling you that I now drive to the mall to order this food even though I pass by a 100 restaurants! The staff is outstanding We need to keep such amazing restaurants alive ! The food is ridiculously tasteful and the sushi is outstanding and FULL of flavour!! Completely different from what we are generally offered from other establishments . Once you try it , you too will be picking dinner up from THE MALL!

Number one, the guy at the counter was super helpful and friendly! He helped me and my son figure out what to get since we were new to the menu…he was awesome. And two, the food was even better then I expected. It was so good, hot, fresh and flavorful! My son (A little Sushi connoisseur) said it was the best sushi he’s ever had. And the wok bowl, was LIT, as the kids would say these days.

Bellis fair Bellingham, its a nice place to dine with your family and friends if you get what you wanted to eat and so i tried this Fish and Chips and as promised by the gentleman at the counter it was nice and delicious fish chips experience. quick serve, neat and clean place and quite pricey I would say. overall its a nice experience.

The portion size is small in relation to the cost. One can do better at a conventional North American sushi restaurant.
14 of 16 of the rolls we saw listed on the menu were listed as containing “Philadelphia”. Yes, you read that right: “Philadelphia”. The menu doesn’t clarify what is meant by that. Last I checked, it’s the name of dozen or so cities, not to mention a song, a movie, and other things. Upon inquiry, this was clarified to mean a brand: “Philadelphia Cream Cheese”. Again, not a typical maki ingredient. The menu did not state the existence of an alternative option for maki without cream cheese.
Nonetheless I tried two of these rolls, their “Kani Roll” (rice, kanikama, Philadelphia, avocado, mango, caviar, and chives, $14.00/8pcs) and “New York Phila” (rice, salmon, Philadelphia and avocado with sesame, $14.50/8pcs). Both were served on shredded carrot with a small amount of pickled ginger and wasabi paste on the side.
Neither roll was particularly good — not horrible, but certainly not worth repeating.

If you’re a sushi lover like me, but get bored of the same old run of the mill sushi- this is the place for you.
It is most unique sushi I’ve had in Bellingham, and my new favorite sushi spot. We ordered the Kani Roll, Umami Geisha, Teri Roll, and Salmon Ceviche. Rolls come with ginger and wasabi over a bed of finely shredded carrots. Ceviche was textbook and very fresh.
Staff was very friendly and fluent in both spanish and english, and answered any questions I had about the menu.
Though it is a mall, and meals are served in small to go containers, the sushi beats out the quality you would get at local sushi go rounds and even higher end restaurants.

Amazing and tasty sushi and the services is great. One of my favorite new places to order sushi! Recommend trying them out and getting a combo for the variety, it’s worth it.

Sushi was ok, but just ok. It was disappointing based on how ridiculously priced it was – it should have been amazing. Seriously, $8 for four pieces of avocado roll?! We had sushi at a fancy sit-down sushi restaurant in Seattle yesterday and had fresh salmon rolls for half that price – should not be this pricey in a food court? The photo, with no lineup, was at a time that the food court was busy. That should have tipped us off. Won’t eat here again.
