Sit outside at the lovely sitting patio or in the dining area upstairs & enjoy a quality lunch or quick bite to eat.
Come check out this classic, quaint, Greenwich, CT café!
Great spot for a fresh, delicious bite! The salads are colorful and flavorful, sandwiches are filling (the baguettes are amazing), and the Blue Butterfly Limeade is a refreshing treat. Cozy outdoor seating and a cheerful vibe make it a perfect lunch stop. Highly recommend!
The quiche was a favorite but now it is at $16.00 for two slices and the slices have been cut smaller and smaller. The salmon benta tray has a piece of salmon that is like a small square. The dessert cakes are about a third of the size of what they used to be, the brownies are about half the size less. The atmosphere has deteriorated too. A lot of local people used to go and hang out and say hello to each other and read their newspaper and have a warm sandwich, salad sampler or meal on a weekend or Sunday brunch and now everyone just basically does take out, so it has lost its intimate panache. No more people watching! 🙁
We have to think twice about what we choose to purchase because of the high cost. A few things in our to-go bag, and it’s always $75-100.
The food is still good, it’s just that the portions have been cut way way down and the prices have gone way up. I think the customers deserve a lot better than this. It’s really insulting to the customer and they really ought to rethink this.
(By the way, the reviews that are older, from 2 to 3 years ago, don’t really apply because that was then. It has changed since.)
