A gem, truly a life-saver. Every single thing they make is delicious and outstanding. My family on both sides are converts and huge fans. We are lucky to live close to it, and cater so many family gatherings with their delicious foods

I love the coffee bar here at Aux Délices Foods. You can get a rich, delicious coffee, & customize it anyway you want for under $5! The small organic finger food & sandwiches are very tasty & a great portion for your $.
Sit outside at the lovely sitting patio or in the dining area upstairs & enjoy a quality lunch or quick bite to eat.
Come check out this classic, quaint, Greenwich, CT café!

Aux Délices – Riverside
Great spot for a fresh, delicious bite! The salads are colorful and flavorful, sandwiches are filling (the baguettes are amazing), and the Blue Butterfly Limeade is a refreshing treat. Cozy outdoor seating and a cheerful vibe make it a perfect lunch stop. Highly recommend!

Quick pit stop when driving past the area but the food there was such a pleasant surprise. The sandwich and quiche were really good. The shop itself is very cutely decorated. Even the croissant is very decent. Coffee is okay though.

Aux Délices is a solid choice for breakfast or lunch. Plus, I know I can get a decent latte here and they offer almond milk. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating upstairs, with plastic partitions between the tables. Today I tried the red velvet latte but sadly, I wasn’t a fan. I’ll stick to my regular latte on my next visit.

This has been one of our favorite bakeries since we were kids, and they once again did not miss. Aux Delices was great to work with and helped make our wedding day so special. You cannot beat the price for a wedding cake, especially when the quality is as excellent as Aux Delices.

I’m really getting disappointed! This place has always been a local favorite hangout because it always had good food at reasonable prices where a single person or a couple could go almost every day and just have their late afternoon meal and not worry about dinner. But this has deteriorated so much! Although the food is still good, the prices have gotten ridiculous for what’s being offered. The prices are going way up and all of the portions are going way down, to the point of it being ludicrous. For example, the salads used to have eight small tomatoes. Then they reduced to 6, then four and now three if you’re lucky! The tuna salad on lettuce in the container had a great scoop of tuna and little accoutrements on the side to toss into the salad, but now the tuna is about the size of a large tablespoon full and even black olives that were in some of the salads were reduced down to maybe three from about 8.
The quiche was a favorite but now it is at $16.00 for two slices and the slices have been cut smaller and smaller. The salmon benta tray has a piece of salmon that is like a small square. The dessert cakes are about a third of the size of what they used to be, the brownies are about half the size less. The atmosphere has deteriorated too. A lot of local people used to go and hang out and say hello to each other and read their newspaper and have a warm sandwich, salad sampler or meal on a weekend or Sunday brunch and now everyone just basically does take out, so it has lost its intimate panache. No more people watching! 🙁
We have to think twice about what we choose to purchase because of the high cost. A few things in our to-go bag, and it’s always $75-100.
The food is still good, it’s just that the portions have been cut way way down and the prices have gone way up. I think the customers deserve a lot better than this. It’s really insulting to the customer and they really ought to rethink this.
(By the way, the reviews that are older, from 2 to 3 years ago, don’t really apply because that was then. It has changed since.)

I am from out of state but was having a sweet 16 birthday dinner across the street from the Riverside bakery at a restaurant. For the entire week before I was being helped by Laura Kraus in catering to make the perfect cake for my daughter. The cake came out very nice but bc I was from out of state the plan was to pick it up before they closed and bring it to the restaurant. Due to a time mix up they were closed by the time we got there. Although I had to drive back today to get the cake they offered me a generous discount for my troubles without argument. If I lived closer I would use this bakery. Not only were they very accommodating but the food looked delicious as well. Thank you for helping us!
