Now what you need to know.
The waitress was whispering this to us, while trying not to cause attention to the owner.
She explained that the order was incorrect on their behalf.
She asked did I need anything else, I said no regarding the shrimp and potatoes but asked for ranch for my salad.
She returned asked was I okay.
I told her, no.
At the same time, the cashier appears.
She ask was I okay, I said no also explaining that I did not want anything (as she offered me a cupcake, substitution and refund). I explained to her that I did not want more of a scene than it, has been.
She walked away.
The waitress pats me on the shoulder attempting to comfort and walks away.
I explained this to say,
stop eating at places that don’t seek to meet your need, especially when you are complying with there’s. I mean to be treated like this and paying $100 to eat, is and ridiculous.
This situation could have played differently, but the God in me and my husband, instilled wisdom.
” Don’t fight fire with , is what I mean-instead pray and walk on & do not try to correct the wicked, you too will be on with no resolution. “
Last night was our last time eating from this establishment.
As it appears that the employees are walking on egg shells with the owner and service is not appropriate.
I pray that that God gives you eyes to see in all areas of your lives.

“The heart will never forget what the eyes have seen”.
On last night, October 17, 2025, my husband and I visited this establishment.
*FYI, we have ate at this establishment for some time and never had an encounter like this. *
We both wanted some good seafood, since we had not visited in some time, we went.
Upon arrival, we where greeted well.
We placed our order, ordering:
Plate of boiled shrimp w/ side of potatoes and salad
*Before ordering, the cashier and I had a conversation that I did not want any seasoning neither wanted the flavor hot. She concurred, stating that she understands and that I would only get the shrimp as it is boiled in a pot. She too explained that the order would be considered mild.
My husband ordered:
Two pounds of Medium Shrimp(Which comes with a hot flavor and seasoning). He too ordered two pounds of crab legs.
The cashier repeated order, we agreed.
Food arrival:
The waitress provides food.
After she walks away, we distribute our food.
On examining, we observed that my order *The plate of boiled shrimp, had seasoning on it, immediately I asked my husband to taste whereas I cannot eat hot food.
My husband taste, explains to not eat it-there is a mix up.
No I am not slow and neither are you .
We then examine the two pounds of shrimp-there was no seasoning neither flavor of heatness (Which is what I wanted, not my husband).
Respectfully, we notified our waitress.
Explained the situation and she understood.
Pause:
What you need to know that the owner was too there, two booths down having a dinner with a customer as well.
Continuing:
Out of no where the owner just shows up, standing over me.
He asked what was the problem.
My husband explains.
The owner proceeds on stating that the order is not incorrect, explaining that not orders did not have a temp of heatness neither had anything added.
At the same time explained that my ordered appeared to have caught a little seasoning in it due to it cooking at the bottom of the pot. He too exclaimed that that should not cause the shrimp to be hot.
Now remind you, that the waitress was taken care of the matter herself. This is important, because now that the owner is involved-He is causing a scene (Verbally vibrant, passively aggressive and etc). Which leads other employees to tune in and even his distribute his own fellowship.
Continued:
The owner says, try them directing me to try them.
Now, I simply stated at the beginning*I cannot eat hot food!
I try and could not eat them because of the hot temp!
At this point, he directs one of the waitresses (That was vacuuming the floor) to take my plate go into the kitchen, wash the potatoes and the shrimp off. He then explains to my husband that he could not redrop his two pounds of shrimp because the boiling will not help with the heat flavor. Rather than that, he explained that he could give my husband Tony’s cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper, to which this is how they flavor the Medium shrimp.
He too kept saying”You got that, you got that” as if my husband is a child.
He directs another waitress to go get the seasoning. (Remember this waitress)
After she walked away, to follow the order. The owner to resumed to his seat.
As we patiently sit, I self examine myself, as I was overwhelmed.
At this point, I did not want to eat here any longer.
While waiting, I over hear the owner now communicating the situation to his guest(let’s just call him that).
The waitress returns, with the plate and seasoning. (,The second waitress).
She directs me to try them.
I explained the plate. The plate went from being orange/red to now clear water with only the shrimp and potatoes.
I declined.
She then ask, what did I tell The cashier upon arrival. I explained the order.
She then explains that the order was incorrect, as my order did have seasoning on it, confirming that I had the Medium flavor which was should have applied to my husband order. Now what you need to know…..Part 2
