Bistro des Ours is a charming and relaxed spot that delivers comforting, well-executed food in the heart of Crans-Montana. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an easy choice for a casual lunch or dinner after a day on the slopes.
The menu focuses on bistro-style classics with a Swiss touch, and most dishes are generous and satisfying. The quality of ingredients is evident, and the flavors are honest and comforting, even if not every dish is particularly adventurous. When they get it right, it’s really enjoyable, especially the hearty mains that suit the alpine setting perfectly.
Service is friendly and efficient, contributing to the overall laid-back vibe of the place. A solid, reliable bistro with good food, a nice ambiance, and great location—definitely a place you’d happily return to.

For fine dining I guess there is no better spot in Crans-Montana than L’Ours. If you want the full experience you will need to pick one of the menus of 6 or greater dishes. They will walk you through Haut-cuisine dishes and always have the best wine recommendations. The staff is nice and very friendly and always looking to make your night something to remember. The price however is abit on the high side but it’s an experience that you do not want to miss.

Le Bistrot des Ours or The Bear Bistro is a beautiful Alpine designed bistro by Franck Reynaud with some delicious dishes including : « Swiss alpine » Salmon rollmops marinated and smoked with Juniper wood; Peking duck foie gras terrine with Tangerine and black coffee brioche; Pike “Fish finger” from Morat Lake; Country beef filet with Chimichurri sauce, Shallot condiment and Homemade French fries.
For dessert we had a selection of Sorbets and home made ice creams.
We loved the amazing decor and the friendly service

Great experience, the plates were beautifully presented, the fine dining influence was there, everything was excellent – although some things like the gyoza starter did not deliver as much flavour as one may have expected from reading the menu. Service was great too.

Amazing food served by a discreet and elegant staff. I counted 9 tables in the restaurant, giving a very cosy atmosphere, yet not posh, as some tables were set up to accommodate a romantic dinner for couples while others were welcoming groups of friends or larger families.
In this very elegant and relaxed setting, we enjoyed exquisite and delicate dishes prepared by the chef, who came to salute us at the end of this beautiful evening.

Excellent food. The service was great and the sommelier gave us excellent wine suggestions. Unfortunately there was a young child running around the restaurant during out dinner screaming for almost the three hours we were there. When you are spending over 600 chf for two you would expect a more peaceful dinner.

Nice and warm restaurant, we had a pleasant dinner in Feb.2024 and service was good exception made for a bottle of red Bordeaux wine from Chateau Brane-Cantenac that was served at an unforgivable cold temperature, totally killing its known bouquet. Unexpected and disappointing for such a restaurant, we remarked that to the waiter but damage was done. In the end no remedy or courtesy offered by the staff.
