I decided to give The Smoking Crab & Seafood Co On The Go a chance while they are here in Lincoln, NE. I went the first day & I ordered a seafood boil & I started eating when I got home just to find a dead fly within my food. The food was good up until that point & I became disgusted & had to throw it away. A waste of almost $40. They were nice & I tipped of course but take more measures to confine the cooking area from flies & possibly other insects from being in the food.

Found out they were coming to my town through FB advertising. Only here for the days. Had a rough work week and even though I was broke I decided to give them a try for lunch. BEST seafood I’ve had in years. I recommend the sampler with the crab and shrimp. Fed two people comfortably for a decent price. Great service. Five stars all around.

The fish was awesome. Haven’t had anything like it in the area. Such a small outfit that some people were getting mad about the wait. Just letting you know that it’s better to call ahead of time. I had to wait quite a while but finally got fresh made not soggy fish. We ate it right outside but the only complaint would be the dust from the parking lot. No complaints about the food. Keep up the good work!

Kind of a cluttered and unlikely location for a drive-through restaurant, (I drove by their entrance twice and missed it) but dang, they know how to fry some fish! The wait was kind of long for a drive-thru that was not busy, but worth it. Tasted fresh and not greasy- best fish & chips I’d had in a long time, in fact!

Have you heard of chocolate covered flies? Lol. Yucks.. I would have taken that portion of food you got back and either got an exchange for a fresh entrée or got your money back. That way, you could have given a different review in what they would have done! God Bless You!
