Nasty place. You can always rate a Chinese restaurant by the condition of their bathroom. Wow, really bad. But I was hungry so I took a chance and ate there. I had the chicken chow mein, no soup or egg roll included at the price I paid. It’s been a few hours since I ate and I’m still alive. The owner was friendly but there was a large guy there acting particular.

Food was good. Took a little while to prepare so it probably wasn’t sitting around. My only issue was there was 5 people and there was a service charge of $12, I’m not against service charges however I felt the service was lacking, had to ask for extra utensils, ask for more napkins, ask for soy sauce, ask for hot sauce. Things that should already be available at a restaurant that really only has 1 table for dine in. Also there is no AC, or it wasn’t on and it was quite warm.

I ate here back in 2019 and I hated it, I recently moved back to new Paltz and figured I’d give it another shot….I’m honestly so glad I did! My pork fried rice and beef with broccoli combo was incredible and plentiful! My lo mein side also just as delicious. I had it delivered via DoorDash and my food was steaming hot upon arrival. 10/10 I recommend.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The vegetable fried rice was amazing and overflowing! The Shrimp Lo Mein was excellent too! The General Tso’s chicken was great but the ‘extra spicy’ was still not at all spicy. We also ordered Kung Pow and Szechuan Chicken but wasn’t my top choice around from other places.

5/5 service. Server was amazing, so wonderful and caring. Always making sure me and my family were good. The chief came out to ask how our meals were, our meals were fresh and delicious. I wish nothing but the best for this establishment and I can’t wait to come back!

It’s a shame the staff is so friendly here however, the food simply isn’t fresh at all. After eating here I got pretty sick. I will spare the details but it was quite nasty. How do I know I got sick from this place? As soon as I bit into my chicken I could tell it was tainted. I should’ve learned my lesson from eating here previous times…the food simply isn’t fresh. Sometimes they would throw random vegetables in my fried rice and they were clearly tainted and I could smell them. I will not be eating here again. I’m surprised this place is still up and running….Steer clear from this place unless you want to get sick. I’m surprised it’s still up and running and obtaining business…the food is simply a hazard to eat.

Have given this place a few chances, quality is consistently poor. Orange/sesame/general tsos “chicken” is really just fried balls of corn startch with sauce. i am not exagerating, on my last order, the entire serving of orange chicken contained two pieces of identifiable chicken. After spitting out my 3rd ball of corn starch, I went and checked piece by piece. It was inedible. The boneless spare ribs are also dissapointing. dry and overcooked. Even the plain white rice was gummy and overcooked.

In my experience, the only things that are passable are their fried chicken and fried rice. And I mean just barely passable. wouldn’t call any of it good.

Really good food! Blazing fast delivery. I will definitely order from them again. Only took 23 minutes to deliver my food. This is not your typical “American ized” Chinese food. This place is legit.

My go-to Chinese restaurant in New Paltz. Although not as good as the Chinese restaurants I once frequented in Manhattan, this place has a home-style quality evident in its excellent dumplings, tasty sauces, and freshly fried crispy noodles. The menu is a cut above New Paltz’s other takeout joint, offering chicken-corn soup (which is hard to find in this area) and numerous steamed options. I would give the place five stars if the corn was blended to form a puree and there was more chicken in the soup! That is the way it’s done in Manhattan. Also, many Manhattan Chinese restaurants have delicious veggie protein options that add variety and flavor to the typical tofu-vegetable dish, and they offer stir-fries in broth instead of oil, which adds flavor without the calories and fat. Nor are the wonderful slimy black mushrooms that are a staple of Chinese cooking in the city offered here. Not sure why those options and techniques haven’t wended their way up the Hudson River by now….
