I tried to submit a complaint through the McDonald’s app, but it’s seemingly near impossible to actually submit a ticket tied to a recent order (which is very easy to do with uber eats and DoorDash).
I tried calling this location 5 times since the app instructs you to contact the location, but no one picked up. Each call rang indefinitely until someone on their end hung up each time.
The staff is nice and they are actually working rather than goofing off, but despite not having a dedicated front counter staff, they were never even close to FAST food. In fact, saw a man wait over 3 min for a refill on his soda. Why, because this location decided to not have refills on the floor and not have the appropriate kitchen setup and staff to manage.
I’m sure mobile orders have also made things difficult, but staffing is important as is the ability to multitask and overlap and get work done as a team.
Needless to say I had to wait 27 minutes for 2 happy meals, a small fry and 2 extra large fries. Only to have one fry bagged upside down so nothing was in the container and one of the large fries missing.
Issues were resolved without hassle, but after 27 min the last thing you should have is an incorrect order.
Food wasn’t bad but the fries were undercooked (despite being ordered as well done). But again, if you’re waiting 27 min, food better be perfect. It wasn’t.
This was 1:30pm on a Saturday. Very few inside customers (3-4 at any time including me) and the drive through wasn’t long either. Only one mobile pickup was made during that time.
Despite only 4 customers inside, there was NOT sufficient parking as I was forced to either park in curbside pickup, drive thru waiting or the next business over. And to make things worse, there is another McDonald’s about an hour a way right off the major highway, which further limits traffic at this location. Yet somehow, slow was the only possible scenario.
All in all, the assessment is simple…. NEVER COMING BACK.
When I went back through the drive-thru to get the correct burger and ask for sauce, the employee told me they had no dipping sauces at all. Then she said they did have ketchup and honey mustard, so I asked for honey mustard. When I finally got the bag, there was no sauce in it at all.
At that point, I decided to just eat the burger I originally ordered for myself, but even that was wrong. I ordered it exactly as it comes because I only like McDonald’s burgers when they include onions — this one had no onions whatsoever.
Overall, the order was wrong multiple times, the sauces were missing twice, and the communication was frustrating. This has definitely made me not want to return to this McDonald’s location.
The first thing I noticed is that the design is not set up for the seniors who reside here. From the stools for seating to the kiosks for ordering, the older population complains about how difficult it is to navigate a meal here, regardless of how stylish or “trendy” it might be.
The personnel are primarily focused on the drive-thru patrons, which leaves the lobby empty of employees most of the time.
The most frequent complaint I overheard over the 6 days was that there are no napkins avaliable in the lobby. NONE. You have to get the attention of an employee if you need napkins. You also have to get their attention if you want a drink refill, as there are no soda fountains in the lobby either. So, you might spend much of your time waiting for assistance when you are trying to eat a meal. I gathered that the locals have learned that already and pretty much stay away if they are looking for a dine-in breakfast.
I went there again 11/9 and they forgot my order again. The only person with sense in the mornings that works there is Marcus.
