We ordered for carry out. The food was absolutely delicious. The prices are very good. The order was about 14 minutes later than the estimate. The dining room is very clean, but the lighting is very bright LED lighting. So the atmosphere is not exactly intimate.
Everything we have tried so far has been excellent. Favorites so far have been the Chicken Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi & Chilli Chicken. The Veg Samosa was a great appetizer! Can’t wait to try Onion Bhaaji & Chicken Pakura.
Go get some food from here! The staff is friendly and will advise you what to try if you’ve never had this wonderful cuisine. It’s fantastic food and downriver needed a good Indian restaurant.
The basmati rice was completely forgotten, which made eating the butter chicken much harder—it’s such a staple pairing for soaking up the sauce! The salad arrived with brown lettuce and without any dressing at all, and it was very skimpy: just one thin slice of cucumber (cut in half) and no tomatoes. It felt like a bare-bones afterthought.
The butter chicken itself tasted decent from what I could eat, but the missing rice really impacted the meal. Hoping this was just a one-off mistake with packing/takeout, because the food has potential. I’d give it another try if they can get the basics right next time.
I got dinner here with my girlfriend and parents after reading a positive review on social media. The owner/manager came out and introduced himself. Parents and GF got a combination platter, fish tikka masala, and chicken korma – I wanted to see how the vegan food was so I got Saag Aloo.
I was really impressed by my entree. It’s pretty easy to make mid – but it was as flavorful and enjoyable as the meat entrees everyone else got. I ordered it Hot and it was pleasantly spicy but not overbearing.
The sides were also excellent. Naan and rice were exactly what you would expect and want and were brought out in ample portions. The onion bhaji came with a wildly tasty green chutney that nobody could get enough of.
We ate until full and had quite a bit of leftovers which I am enjoying now while writing this review.
If I lived in the area this would quickly become my primary takeout spot.
