Tasty Korean-style fried chicken!
The chicken was cooked well, and the sauce was good, but I wish they offered an option for extra sauce.
It’s still a solid place if you like Korean fried chicken.

This is a tasty Korean-style fried chicken place.
I ordered the chicken with green onion and the sweet and spicy sauced chicken.
The chicken was cooked well, and the sauce flavor was satisfying.

However, there was a common issue I’ve noticed at Vans Chicken locations — the sauce wasn’t enough.
Personally, I would even pay a few extra dollars for more sauce because I prefer it richer.
It was a bit disappointing that they didn’t offer an option for extra sauce.

Overall, it’s still a great spot if you enjoy Korean fried chicken, and the flavors were enjoyable.

It’s ok in my opinion. Not horrible but definitely not a place I want to come back soon. It’s a clean place, service is ok and food is ok too. I just feel like there are so many other places that make better, flavorful friend chickens.

It was so great to find somewhere to try Korean Fried Chicken! We tried honey butter boneless. It was So Good! The outside is extra crispy! The inside is extra moist and juicy! The 10 piece had so much chicken! And, a small portion of radish, and a small portion of coleslaw.
The restaurant is clean, with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and helpful regarding menu choices! We will definitely be back!

Von’s Chicken in Rancho Cordova is such a great find! The chicken is always hot, crispy, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality and freshness. The Soy Garlic and Original Crispy are my go-tos, but the Hot & Spicy hits the spot when you want a little extra kick. Don’t skip the baked chicken as it’s perfect if you want something lighter but still packing tons of flavor.

The sides and starters are just as good — especially the cheeseballs and sodduck sodduck. Portions are generous, and even the takeout stays crunchy and delicious.

The staff here are super friendly and attentive — they take the time to explain the different sauces and flavors, and it’s clear they care about their customers having a great experience.

Overall, Von’s Chicken is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine hospitality. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots in Rancho Cordova!

I’ll definitely be returning. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. We got both a spicy and garlic flavor. The spicy was amazing, hot enough to feel the burn but had a great flavor that keep you wanting more. The garlic was not what I expected but delicious. It was almost sweet vs the garlic flavors I’m use to. We also ordered Sodduk Sodduk, it was so good I couldn’t get a photo before we devoured it. I can’t wait to try the other flavors.

I had a fabulous time as I simply loved the food here. Tried edamame and chicken along with garlic and spicy sauce and the taste and freshness was mind blowing. Need to go back to try the other sauces as well. Half size was 10 and Full size was 20 but the quantity was way more than what other companies like McDonald’s or Burger King give. Tried the half size. Full size must be good for party’s.

Overall conclusion: weak sauce. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but will have to do so here. We had two combo meals: one with crispy fried chicken and one with crispy yangnyum chicken. The food was average – I’ve had much better fried chicken than this. I found the chicken in my combo to be poor quality. There is no excuse for this as the restaurant is right next to the largest Korean market in Sacramento. Besides all this, it took over a half hour to get our food – 1 pm on a Monday. Sorry, but I won’t be back.

We finally had the chance to try this chicken place out, and it did not disappoint!

We ordered the B, half an order of the crispy fried chicken with soy glaze and it was really flavorful!

We got the 10pcs boneless and the pieces were a good size that it was satisfying and a bit more than one meal.

It comes with the radish (which I like) and a tiny cup of coleslaw which I was not a huge fan of but doesn’t take away from how yummy the chicken was 🙂

Definitely give this place a shot!

The spicy crispy chicken was so good and tasty. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the spice was just right. Paid an extra $2 to get smaller drumsticks and it was definitely worth it. However, the crispy garlic chicken was pretty saucy so it was kind of soggy. The taste was good but I wish I would’ve gotten the sauce on the side. Next time I would try the other varieties on the menu, as well. The rice cakes and the kimchi fried rice were pretty good but kind of small.

Went during lunch hours on a weekday. Wasn’t super busy. Service was fast.
Got a small order of wings of their Crispy Fried Chicken (Soy Garlic). It came with a complimentary side of coleslaw or pickled radish.
Came to a total of about $10-11.
The sauce on the chicken was tasty – I only wish they added more!
The texture of the batter was different from the usual Korean Fried Chicken I’ve had – it was a bit crispier (I didn’t hate it).
My only real complaint is the price, but then again, everywhere is getting expensive.
Would recommend and will probably come again.
4 out of 5 wings.
