Excellent bagels, wonderful staff! This is my favorite bagel spot by far. I typically call ahead and my food is always ready and the staff is efficient and nice. Even when I just walk in, they’re quick!
LOVE the fresh french toast bagel! 10/10

First, the place is so clean and the employees are amazing . Jill makes the best egg/bacon sandwiches and she’s so friendly❣️
The owner is great and always greets customers. This is my new bagel place where EVERYONE is professional and happy. I used to go to another place in Shoreham plaza but the owner was always yelling at employees and never happy to customers.
Thanks Mrs J

Cannot say enough good things about this bagel deli!!! I just had the most friendly helpful young lady waiting on me….her kindness really made my day! You can’t beat the prices, the bagels are the best around and the staff is the BEST! Also, Love that they are law enforcement supporters!!

The girl with long hair and California sweat shirt was eating in the front of the store and then helping customers WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. Then she wiped her mouth multiple times with her bare hands the wiped it on her shirt. Went to help customers touching the box of gloves to put them on so now everyone can have her germs in the box hen screen on the register and the counter etc. I ended up throwing out my food and getting it somewhere else bc I was so disgusted. When I told the lady on duty I believed Terri I could be wrong on her name she said I was right that’s great I’m right but that means she wasn’t trained properly or that’s how they operate either way I will not be returning here. And that is sad bc I am here weekly

Stopped into Wildcat Bagel Deli (6243 Route 25A, Wading River, NY) and had a terrific breakfast/brunch experience. Here’s what stood out:

What I loved:
The bagels are fantastic. Freshly baked, chewy, with that satisfying crust and soft center you look for in a proper bagel. One reviewer calls them “super fresh… each with its own style.”

The breakfast sandwiches hit the spot—big flavors, thoughtful builds. I enjoyed the sausage‑egg‑cheese on a toasted everything bagel (though mine was missing some of the “everything” seasoning, but still excellent).

The atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and feels very local‑community‑oriented. The bagel shop highlights local high school athletes and gives discounts to students, seniors, first responders, etc.—nice touch.

Staff were welcoming and efficient. Even though it was busy, my order didn’t take long, and they handled it smoothly.

There’s a good variety of bagel flavors and sandwich combinations. One visit I sampled several bagel types—all were solid.

Small things to note:
Pricing is a little higher than “basic” bagel spots, but given quality and freshness I felt it was justified.

If you go later in the day, some hot‑food items or specific bagel flavors may begin to run low—so earlier is better if you’re picky.

Parking in the Route 25A corridor can be tight at peak times; give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot.

Final Verdict:
Wildcat Bagel Deli is a standout local spot for bagels and breakfast sandwiches. If you’re in Wading River (or willing to drive a bit), I’d highly recommend it. Fresh bread, strong flavors, and a community feel make it worth the visit. I’ll definitely be returning—and next time I’ll try a flavored cream cheese and maybe a wrap too.

Been here twice now. Have a great bagel selection. They are super fresh.
Their breakfast sandwiches are very tasty. I love their sausage egg and cheese on a toasted egg everything bagel with salt pepper and ketchup.
However, my last egg everything bagel was lacking the everything seasoning on it, and I was a tad disappointed. This does not change my review though, just hope next time it’ll have more.
Had a pretty good selection of flavored cream cheeses, but would love to see more.

Wildcat Bagel Deli of Wading River not only has fabulous bagels but are very community minded and supportive of its people!! As part of the local American Legion Auxillary Unit 352 Wildcat Bagel was most generous in donating to our US Veterans. Thank you for great food, and support of our Veterans. Your esprit de corps is exemplary.

Wildcat Bagel Deli is an amazing staple in Wading River! When we moved to the area, Wildcat was our first stop while waiting for the moving truck, and Terri and Jordan could not have been kinder or more welcoming to my wife and me! It was such a lovely way to begin a new chapter. Since then, Wildcat has been our go-to for bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch! They are an integral part of the neighborhood fabric, and great supporters of our law enforcement, firefighters troops, and first responders! And did I mention that they have authentic NY bagels???!!!

Ordered a plain bagel with nothing on it and a sesame bagel with lox cream cheese. Bill came to $8.67. I asked the server if that is correct and she said yes, the lox cream cheese bagel is $6.50. I asked if this is the lox spread, not actual lox on the bagel, and the server, a large older woman (only non high school age girl working there) turned her back, walked away, and said as she was walking “yeah, lox is expensive”. $6.50 for a flavored cream cheese bagel is inexcusable. I get that they are now the only bagel place in town, but I won’t be back. Such a bad attitude and bad prices.
