Uhhuh Definitely great quality product turned into absolutely the best bar food in the area. I would suggest that anybody that brings her family and friends will be pleased with the food and the service an atmosphere.
Without a doubt the fishtail sets the bar very high it is an excellent sandwich.

Morgan was a wonderful server. We love the vibe here! It’s very clean too. Our crew got cheeseburgers, two different kinds of pizzas and salad. All the food was very good! The salad was very fresh and the food was cooked perfect. I’m so glad we stopped and tried it out. We will definitely be back.

We heard about this place from a friend who came a few months ago but kept forgetting about it because it’s kind of tucked away, we’d never driven by it before. So glad we remembered it because it will now be a regular for us. Plenty of easy parking and seating options inside. Diverse menu. We’re not huge beer drinkers (though we do wish they had Dankhouse beer on tap!) so we were happy to see a fun cocktail menu. We had a margarita, their old fashioned, onion rings (freshly made, not frozen), a burger (no bun for my carb counting husband – he splurged on the onion rings), and a fish sandwich that was massive. Everything was excellent. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend. We prefer it over nearby Bummies or Newark Station and will be back for sure.

Tried this place out with a friend. Was pleasantly surprised by the more relaxed nature of the place. The food was wonderful we each ordered burgers. The fries were amazing! Marlee was our waitress and she was nice, efficient, and wonderful. She made sure we never needed something but didn’t make it feel like hovering. Will definitely be going back!

This place is fantastic! It’s fun, friendly, and the food is incredible. We had the pizza, nachos, and a burger with fries. This is the best pizza I’ve had and I’ve had pizza all over the country. The crust is perfection, the sauce brings me back to the pizza of my youth, the toppings were high quality, fresh, and delicious. The burger was huge, yummy, and great quality meat. The French fries were SO good and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

My daughter and I come to Newark Ohio every few months for a doctor’s appointment I decided to look on Google to see what was around to have lunch/dinner found knotty pine pizza bar and grill decided to stop in even with a picky kid turned out it was a great choice The food was just absolutely amazing I had a fishtail sandwich onion rings and a sweet tea My daughter had the grilled cheese french fries and a small side of mac and cheese all the food was really great The teas weren’t too sweet The food came out piping hot and Tricia was just a sweetheart what a wonderful server and thank you for the experience and having the patience for new customers I will be back and thank you again

The pepperoni pizza was decent. Maybe next time I’ll try extra sauce and extra cheese and see if that makes a difference. UPDATE: I got pepperoni and sausage with extra cheese & extra sauce (although I think they missed the extra sauce part)… it was really good though. Just needs more sauce is all. I will be back for more.

I enjoyed the Maple Honey Mustard Chicken Club, finding it really delicious and well-made. Unfortunately, the Spruced Up Fries were a letdown, they were just ok. They did have fresh ingredients but it was just a plain cheese sauce. From a value perspective, it feels like the sandwiches are incomplete for the price and should at least be served with a side of chips.
