I came in to this Mariscos (Mexican Sea food) restaurant to get me some sea food. It was amazing. The number one dish I personally recommend is the famous QUESA BIRRIAS along side the Consunme trust me on this one. The Quesa Birria sale out daily.

Tasty seafood with great customer service. The staff was accommodating of our large party and moved chairs and tables to seat us together. Our food took a bit to come out but with a large party that was expected. The wait was worth it, everything was well seasoned and fresh. Surprisingly the beans and rice were both delicious, which is not usually the case in most Mexican restaurants these days. We ordered shrimp in hot sauce, shrimp in creme, seafood towers, governor tacos and all dishes were great. You won’t find a large fancy place but if you’re looking for good seafood at a reasonable price then this is the place. Definitely will return soon.

Very clean restaurant including the restrooms. Cashier very nice and positive. The food was not bad my wifes food was over cooked with to much oil. The shrimp cocktail was not prepared right. The shrimp was not cleaned right and hot a shrimp cocktail needs to be cold. All the other ingredients were perfect right on. I hope the next time i stop there it gets better not worse.

Terrible service, soon as we got there I knew there was gonna be trouble. Dirty floors as well as their tables. Took them awhile before they can wipe down the tables then afterwards took about 10 mins just to get our drinks ordered. We didn’t get complimentary chips and salsa but all other tables did. This is the type of place where if you know the owners you will get special treatment and as for the rest will get treated second. Food wasn’t too bad just mostly all vegetable so don’t be expecting much in terms of shrimp or whatever you ordered.

Best Mariscos in Porterville. Fresh oysters for 12.99 – tell me another restaurant that you can get them at that price because I don’t know of one. Great place to get your Marisco fix. The tacos governador are of the hook, DELICIOUS!! the aguachile mixto is on point. This place is really good, I highly recommend it.
