Most of menu was unavailable, which is unfortunate for the wait staff.
Ownership seems apathetic, at least according to employees.
I love the riverside location and view, but the limited menu, warm, overpriced beer, and disgruntled staff made this an experience I don’t care to repeat.
I won’t be going back unless there are improvements made.
The downtown area needs proactive business involvement to stimulate continued vibrancy.
This is not what I witnessed here.

The place has recently has a visual and menu refresh, which is quite nice. The prices are reasonable for both regular food and sushi, but the food is fairly middle of the road. The sushi quality is good, but unfortunately for me they don’t have any rolls without avocado or cucumber (which I’m not a huge fan of).

I feel like I get the same server every time I go (Dan), but it’s not a bad thing because he’s polite, funny, and extremely attentive.

All in all, a nice place to grab dinner and it’s not too busy so there’s generally little to no wait.

I have had sushi at many places and this ranks as one of the best. Add the taste and the amount that is provided at the cost..Wow! It is worth the trip. No complaints. Food was great and drinks were not watered down. Will definitely be coming back and bring friends.

I want this place to be good, it’s on the river. Unfortunately the owners do not take pride in there business. Very dirty, especially on the deck/patio. We keep going back with hopes they will at least power wash the spider webs and dirt off the deck. No luck yet. The patio furniture is old as well. No music on the deck either. The sushi is good and the view of the river is perfect, just grossed out by however dirty this place is. Wait staff are not very accommodating either. They seem miserable.

We eat here regularly because it is the only place in town we are aware of that has decent sushi. With that being said, the facility is a level of disrepair with damage to the ceiling, pealing table tops etc. The price of the sushi recently increased by about $2 per roll so I’m disinclined to return. Their staff is friendly and their consistency is good however.

food was great, sushi was good, and the staff was friendly. I was very happy with the meal and the service. And maybe it was being in the sun all day or maybe it was the bartender but the drinks were strong which is a plus for me.
I think this place gets a bad rep from the clientele it attracts on the river, while my wife and I were waiting to be seated a guy comes in and talks in disbelief to the bartender that he has to wait for a table on the patio on a Saturday night at 7pm. If people were more laid back about vacation it wouldn’t really be a problem.
The only problem I had was my steak was a little over cooked, which isn’t really a big deal to me because in no way was it dried out.
After we finished our sushi, entree and dessert, I was tempted to restart back at the sushi the food was so good.

The decor is fine, the staff is fine, drinks are good. The sushi is average at best. The people giving it five stars have never had real sushi. The people giving it zero clearly just have a some kind of axe to grind with the restaurant. It’s the only option for sushi in poho, not that doesn’t make it good

Wait staff is amazing! Food is delicious! Better than any big city menu I’ve been too. Glad they came back. Glad they’re here. Did I mention the awesome view?

Went in for lunch staff very under trained, short staffed, place a bit dirty and run down, took 20 minutes before waited on, then took 15 minutes to get our drinks, only 4 other tables so not like they were busy, food fair prices was fairly good, after waiting for over a hour for 2 sandwiches and frys. On our way out we found out they had sushi, would have been nice to know. That night we looked all around Port Heron for sushi and only place we found was H.A.C. so we decited to go back for dinner thinking maybe we had the D squad the first time and no way the service would be that bad again. To our surprise yes it can. We sat down, again 20 minutes before someone comes to our table. The rood waitress then informed us they were out of sushi. So we paid for our drinks and left. I have never seen service this bad not even in fast-food. I would not recommend this resturant to anyone.

Normally the sushi here is great and service is par. However last weekend i had called 20 min ahead and had a party of 12off of the boat, they said come one in. At first was excited however that didnt last long, after a buddy of mine spilled his water ok n accident gwtting up to use the bathroom and they immediatley cut all us off. To not cause a scene I said whatever thats fine. Additionally our waitress seemed fluster which is understandable with how many in a short notice but she made it KNOWN multiple times that she wanted to know how the bills were seperated, everyone was by themselves aside from two couples. It took us almost an hour to pay our bills in which they were all messed up in the end. I will never return to this place and take my happy a$$ to somewhere else that serves sushi i dont care how far it is.
