100% pizza. 100% Italian. Sforno brings Naples to San Francisco with a 200 years old wood-fired oven with pizzas, panozzi (oven baked panini), and classic street pizza a portafoglio, all cooked to order. The menu moves from timeless Neapolitan classics to bold, ingredient-driven pies — including vegan options — built on San Marzano tomatoes from Salento, parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto and EVO olive oil, with produce sourced from local farms in Napa and Sonoma.
Finish with Sicilian pistachios and chocolate pizzas, Sicilian citrus, or our gluten-free Caprese cakes. The space is warm and casual, centered around a traditional wood-burning oven — fast, unfussy, and made for sharing.

Great pizza here! The staff is very kind, they have an expansive menu with lots of topping options. All the pizzas are made fresh after ordering. The restaurant doesn’t have too much seating, but we just sat in the parklet nearby to enjoy our food. Highly recommend!

Really really excellent pizza. Better than most of the ones I’ve had in Italy. The bread is perfectly executed and wondrously fluffy.
The place itself is small with only a few small tables. Go before it becomes well-known and impossible to get a table. Even if they are full, the to-go street pizza is excellent and a fantastic value.
Could not recommend more.

Excellent and authentic Italian pizzas! Especially enjoyed the Buffalo mozzarella one. The restaurant feels cozy and intimate with just three small tables. Will be back to try their $8.50 “street pizza” that’s offered for takeout!

My pic may be messy but this place is def not! Living in the neighborhood im so glad theres a new family owned business opened! I got a street pizza with spicy salami for a late night snack I didn’t expect a whole pie! It’s so flavorful and they freshly made this so it’s extra delicious. I feel bad I forgot to ask the girl’s name who works in the store but she’s so friendly. I would def come back!

Cool atmosphere and Italian vibe. Great place to grab a quick bite before your theater show or symphony concert.

We were just wandering down the street when we spotted this new spot—it past Friday, and the smell pulled us right in. You can tell they’re doing things the right way because they make absolutely everything by hand, and the effort really shows in the food. The highlight was definitely the crust; it’s incredibly light and fluffy, with that perfect charred crunch on the outside without feeling heavy. It’s rare to find a place that feels this authentic and intentional on day one
