I thought they desired really good food. The place is smaller in terms of seating but they do a lot of takeout business. I tried fried corn on the cob, which was new for me. It was breaded and coated with Parmesan. Interesting and good. The hush puppies there were my favorite. The fish was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. And they have a couple of different unique items like barbecue fries and seafood french fries that my family tried. We enjoyed everything. The service and friendliness was outstanding and they had sports playing in several TVs. Everything was fresh and cooked order. Checkout was quick and slick and automated. Bathrooms were clean. We really enjoyed it. This is not a place to go for health food. Everything is deep fried and delicious!

Absolutely incredible. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese and it blew me away. Perfectly toasted, buttery, and packed with real lobster and melted cheese. The seasoning on the bread alone deserves its own award.
Service was fast, friendly, and professional. You can tell they take pride in their food and it shows in every bite.

Before you get to the menu your meet by excellent customer service respectful, suggestive and attentive. The food taste amazing. The wings are fresh. The shrimp are fresh, and they are also freshly cooked season well and flavorful. The servings are perfect! I will always come here when I’m in Charlotte

I’m sharing my experience as a contractor who recently completed work for Uncle Chef’s Seafood & Wings. My company performed extensive plumbing repairs and mold remediation in the kitchen area — all work was completed professionally, documented, and delivered as agreed.
Unfortunately, after the project was finished, Manager Paul Hill stopped responding to calls and messages regarding the thousands of dollars still owed for the work performed. This has been extremely disappointing, especially after investing the time, labor, and resources to help get the restaurant back in proper working condition.
I want to emphasize that the staff has always been friendly, respectful, and hardworking. My issue is strictly with management and their failure to follow through on payment

We fell in love with this restaurant. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. Clam strips, chicken wings, and catfish were excellent. The drinks were excellent as well. We live out of town but plan to visit again anytime we are in Charlotte. So glad we found this place. Highly recommend. Keith & Bobbie.

Again, made it to another TikTok review that came across my page. This is Uncle Chef’s Seafood and Wings. Perfect if you like the smaller (definitely opposite of Jumbo) wings/wingetts and we do!! Cooked to perfection, seasoned with garlic parmesan served wings and fried corn. Crinkle fries, just right and a deep fried crispy battered corn on the cob. My new guilty pleasure.
