Soooo slow… they should learn from pastini – where 1 person churns out one pasta a minute. Here – 1 pasta every 5 minutes. Servers are doing other things – ready food piling up in the window.. chopped salad – dressing too sour. Pasta – a couple large spoons – smaller than kids size in some restaurants. Also i ordered gluten free pasta – its really bad. this type of gluten-free pasta was acceptable maybe 10 years ago. They have fallen way behind. Gluten free pasta nowdays is great. First time in many many years i didn’t enjoy a meal at Portland airport. Grassa doesn’t deserve their spot at the airport.

This is Grassa at Portland International Airport.
I ordered fresh house-made pasta and an Arnold Palmer. The pasta was incredibly fresh and very tasty.
The staff were friendly and provided excellent service.
I’ll definitely see you again next time.

The pasta is tasty. Ordered the Rigatoni – a Sunday Pork Ragu. Service was strong, clean area and nice atmosphere. Nice to eat like this in an airport.

Loved having my lunch here! Spaghetti & meatballs are amazing. The portion and price for an airport meal is great! $15 for this portion. +$3 for soda. The service was okay, the guy looked very serious, no smiles. The other young gentleman bringing drinks was very friendly.

Incredibly delicious food at an affordable price, so rare to see in an airport. They make it fresh, so it will take 5-15 minutes (our salad came out in 5, rest of food in 10) . Raul and team were friendly – great service!

Usually airport food is something handheld, a burger or chicken sandwich. But Grassa makes fresh pasta right there in the terminal! And it is totally worth it. I had the fusilli with sausage and vodka sauce. The pasta was perfectly Al denté, the sauce rich with a slight spice from the red peppers. And there was enough sausage for every bite. I could only eat a little on the plane and it reheated wonderfully at home.
The staff was fantastic and totally talked me into my meal, thankfully! I highly recommend Grassa when in PDX next.

Got breakfast here! Little slow, but they’re super accommodating. I asked for avocado and extra salsa and they did so. I really appreciated it because I needed the avocado for dietary reasons.

Pork belly breakfast burrito ⭐⭐⭐✨
– but ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for airport food!
– it was ok! Really good for airport food
– think I’d prefer cafe yum over this though
– but I really liked it if you’re hunting for a burrito
– the size was pretty big for airport food
– the eggs were fresh and didn’t have that chemical taste
– the pork belly wasn’t melting but it was still quite good, wasn’t greasy
– my main complaint was that it was too salty

— lunch —
Lunch was medium speed I would say, I would be surprised if they could handle all the tables booked out. I think a lot of the dishes were surprising and hit or miss for me.

Vodka pasta ⭐⭐
– would never order again
– had a microwaved smell

❤️Chicken Caesar salad ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
– so amazing for a refrigerator salad
– I thought the chicken would be soft
– I thought the lettuce would be soggy
– it was not, it was really good
– I love the lemon in it
– no anchovies but didn’t need it

❤️Meatballs ⭐⭐⭐⭐
– juicy
– like the tomato sauce

Great experience overall! Easy ordering from a kiosk or chose to order and interact with one of the amazing and very attentive staff members. I opted for the pork belly Mac n cheese and garlic bread and a bb ginger lime bev to wash it down. Meal was top notch. Lots of room to work, eat, and open high ceilings. Def reco!

The food is great and what you come to expect of Grassa. A limited menu of their best items, along with craft beer, cocktails, and wine makes this airport location one of my favorite restaurants to grab a bite before a flight. My favorites are the Fusilli and Rigatoni. There is no airport markup either so definitely an affordable good meal. Make sure you get here early though because it does take 15 minutes to prepare so time it right with your flight and gates.

We just ate there this evening and the food was delicious. I ordered the meatballs and spaghetti and my son ordered their Mac and cheese at the PDX airport. The customer service was just as wonderful as their food.
