We ordered a pepperoni and a mushroom pizza and received two plains. We requested a refund and they only took off $6, which might have been okay if the pizza was exceptional

I need to repost my review my initial review was five stars, but I just ordered two slices to go it was sorely sorely disappointed. I ordered chicken and extra cheese as my additional toppings and a below picture shows that didn’t even get enough cheese to cover all the dough on each slice let alone have extra cheese on it. Like everywhere else this place is evidently gone down. Will not be coming back. Really disappointed!

We ordered from this location via Grubhub where they are listed as “Pimp My Pasta” which I confirmed was them based on a call to the location after we received our food.
I’m not sure how it even happened, and when I spoke with the restaurant I got the impression they weren’t sure how to process the order but didn’t seem to think there was an issue.
We ordered $50 worth of food. A chicken fettuccine, garlic bread and lasagne.
The garlic bread, which was $8, was 2 pieces and when put together shorter and smaller than a McDonald’s cheeseburger bun…just the bread.
The lasagna, pictured on a regular size dinner plate, was laughable for $16. The container wasn’t even full.
The chicken fettuccine with chicken and spinach was insulting. It was $23. For 2 ounces of pasta and 5 tiny pieces of chicken (which somehow cost $4 additional…yes for those 5 small pieces of chicken) as well as 3 spinach leaves (which cost .99 extra). My Samsung cell phone is sitting next to the container for scale. My phone is 6.4 inches long…and it’s longer than the container. It felt like they used the container they would use for a child sized portion…at adult prices.
Honestly that the restaurant even allowed this to leave their establishment thinking this was acceptable is stunning.
We suspect this might have been an error by the staff who were working. Somehow. When I called they did seem unsure how to handle processing the order and said this was a new order option the owner had added.
I’d be open to speaking with the manager (who was supposed to call us but never did) for an explanation as to what happened. But for now, be warned that the serving sizes are child sized.

Verdugo Pizza serves up very Americanized Italian food. The ravioli was unfortunately overcooked and felt quite heavy. While the wings were okay, they weren’t particularly Italian. In a pinch, it’s a decent option, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

The only pizza that is good is the Armenian pizza but even then it’s still not worth $30 for a large pizza that is basically just feta cheese, basil and tomatoes.. we have ordered it a few times and at first it was great but then with each subsequent order the quality became worse and worse until we decided to order a regular pizza with some tomato sauce and the works and boy was it gross… they use cheap cheese the kind that instantly turns the pizza orange… the color of pizza served in any public school cafeteria. And we ordered thin crust but what we got was a soggy mess! Also this large we ordered was a little over $30 as well.
