We came in for Sunday brunch, as always the service was fantastic. The whole restaurant was very helpful and friendly. We’ve been for dinner as well. For dinner the specialty cocktails are a must. My husband’s favorite is the bacon bourbon. For brunch they have Eggs, sausage, bacon biscuits and gravy, grits, Ham prime rib, fresh fruit, and desserts that were all great. The seafood they had out was not good at all so don’t go to their brunch specifically for the seafood you will be greatly disappointed. I didn’t let that effect their score because it’s brunch buffet not a seafood buffet. The highlight of this place is how much they genuinely care. I think the price is fair for everything you get. However $100 for 2 maybe more than some would want to spend. But this place is special so it’s great for a special occasion or if your looking for fancy with love.

Out first time here, and we were greeted with glasses of champagne to celebrate the restaurant’s recent opening and whatever occasion brought us out. The atmosphere is elegant but comfortable. The service from start to finish was impeccable. I started with the soft wedge salad, which was delicious. My husband chose the lobster bisque which he thoroughly enjoyed. My choice for the entree was the short ribs. They were fall apart tender and incredibly flavorful. My husband went with one of the specials, trout stuffed with scallops, shrimp and crab. He ate every bite. The peanut butter cheesecake was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever tried. If you are looking for somewhere nice to dine or want to celebrate a special occasion, you can’t go wrong here.

First good thing I’ve experienced emerging from the pandemic. Service was great and the food was phenomenal. We had the lobster bisque, deviled eggs, octopus, pork belly, shrimp and scallops, short rib and a halibut special. Everything really was so well done. We had some confusion with our reservation (number of people, completely our fault) and the staff was quick to accommodate for us.

I was just here yesterday for a reception dinner and it was fantastic. This restaurant is absolutely stunning!
Our servers tended to every need and Chef checked on our tables frequently. He even poured our wine himself! He even brought me an extra bowl of soup, because the lobster bisque was out of this world! If you were thinking about having an event or just want a really great experience, I would highly suggest you give this restaurant a try. It is not often you get to even see the chef and let alone have the chef personally greet and serve you. He showed true care and leadership, his food was amazing, and the waitresses were great. All around good time!

Elegance and comfort even on a dreary rainy day. That is the sentence that comes to mind about my experience at Bistro on the Falls. I unexpectedly ended up there today for their Sunday brunch. I didn’t have a reservation, but my situation was pretty sad for the day and I was really hoping that there was a slight chance they could squeeze in one more person. The wonderful hostess, Sherry, went above and beyond to accommodate me. I could tell the manager was skeptical and slightly concerned about trying to fit me in with so many reservations on the schedule, but Sherry refused to have me walk away disappointed and was determined to “make it work”. She sat me at this cozy little half-bench/half-table next to their bar area that had a perfect view of all the action. She had the server, James, wait on me. He was extremely personable and attentive and made me feel like I was just as important as his tables with larger parties. The other staff members were all very friendly and professional, right down to the helpful and kind lady working the carving station. The staff worked continuously to make sure dirty plates were quickly removed and drinks were not empty. More than once staff members told me to let them know if I needed anything. The offerings were a suitable and appropriate variety with an elegant presentation. Of particular eye catching appeal was the fruit table with plentiful fresh fruit selections along with several other items including savory meats and cheeses. The petite size desserts were so artistically beautiful that I could not help but try them all. I even tried Eggs Benedict for the first time since it was the only time it ever looked appealing to me since it wasn’t drenched in sauce (and I will be having it again). Although, I did not try every item available, everything I tried was delicious. I personally would like to recommend the Prime Rib that was expertly seasoned in my opinion, making it very flavorful (and it pairs deliciously with the macaroni and cheese!), and the French Toast that had such a pleasurable cinnamon flavor that I forced myself to get another piece even though I was already more than full. At the end of my meal I had the opportunity to speak to the Owner (and Executive Chef), who I found to be kind, charming and deserving of respect for the obvious hard work he has done bringing successful and vigorous life back into a beautiful and well deserved property. Everyone at Bistro on the Falls made me feel like a true “Guest”, not just another person. Nowadays, that is hard to come by, and I praise them all for their hard work. I am anxious to return and try their dinner service (they normally open at 4pm), and perhaps get an opportunity to enjoy their outdoors dining, on a not so rainy day.

Excellent every time. The food is awesome and always features organic when possible and locally sourced. Both Easter brunch and Thanksgiving dinner were amazing. Very attentive service. Kudos to Marcele Fadul for always providing a wonderful culinary experience.

From the chapter of sometimes the best restaurants are right in your backyard, my wife and I visited for the first time tonight. Elegant setting, impeccable & personable service with a menu to match. We had the Scallops & Shrimp, and the Lobster Ravioli. Don’t miss this place!! 5☆!!!

Just left the worst dinner experience I have had in a long time. My husband and were excited to try this restaurant out and at first it was ok. Older decor small dated decor. The online menu is not the current menu, they need to update it. We ordered crab cakes and calamari . The calamari was good but the crab cake was very soft and very fishy. They did not have short ribs so I ordered chicken which came with risotto and my husband ordered the special which was walleye. My entree was terrible, the risotto was undercooked and the flavor was bland, the chicken was a breaded fried thin breast that was overcooked, my husband’s walleye was also fried and greasy. I had no intention of complaining and was prepared to just pay the bill. However, the server asked why I did not eat my food. I told him I didn’t care for it. He went on to tell me he had the same thing for dinner and I was wrong!!!! He called me sweetheart and continued to patronize me. I have never been treated like that by a server in my life. Terrible!!! Do not go there!!!!

We were honestly so disappointed. We came for my wife’s birthday and had high hopes for a lovely dining experience based on reviews. Didn’t get much attention from our waiter and had slow service. But the more disappointing part was truly the food. Enjoyed our appetizers (wedge salad and lobster bisque) but entrees were subpar. Under seasoned and over priced for the quality you’d expect. Just overall a disappointing experience and wouldn’t recommend.

I decided to try out Bistro On The Falls in Olmsted Township and I was very impressed with the service and food. I wanted to treat my girlfriend to a 5 Star dinner experience and I’m glad I chose this place because she was also very pleased. Everyone was so polite to us from the moment we walked in. We were actually greeted by the host Marcelo Fadul who escorted us to our table and was even kind enough to offer us a complementary round of drinks. The dinner was very delicious and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely return again!! I recommend you should try the Ribeye and Bistro Salad. I liked the energy, it felt very up scale and as I looked around it seemed everyone was equally pleased. You definitely need to try Bistro On The Falls.
