We stopped in for a quick lunch, but it didn’t really live up to expectations. The presentation looked solid, but the food tasted like it came straight out of a can or a box. I ordered the brisket sandwich with the Gouda mac and cheese. The mac was the only part I’d eat again, and my coworker who ordered the same thing agreed.

Another coworker tried the smoked burger with loaded baked beans. That didn’t hit the mark either. The patty was dense. Tender, sure but it definitely wasn’t smoked. If anything, it tasted like it had been dipped in liquid smoke, not actually cooked in a smoker. Don’t be fooled by the smell when you enter. After much discussion we decided it was a smokehouse scented candle….

Overall, good effort on presentation, but the flavors and quality just weren’t there.

This is THE hidden gem of the Mobile area. Named after the chef’s love for Bob Marley’s music and his three beautiful blonde daughters. Everything is great from chicken wings to smoked sides to his creative daily specials, but the brisket and burgers are the best you’ll ever try. Locally owned and operated family business right on the water. Great food, priced right, and he gets to you quickly with a smile. I don’t write many reviews, but more people need to know of this spot. Selfishly I hope they do well enough to open a second location closer to me.
