Roble’s Mexican Cantina is a great addition to Fredericksburg. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it an easy place to sit back and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed.

Food came out fast and everything tasted fresh. The chips and salsa disappeared quick, and the tacos were packed with flavor without being overly heavy. Portions were solid and prices felt fair for what you get.

Service really stood out too. Friendly, attentive, and everything just ran smoothly from start to finish.

This is one of those spots you go once and immediately know you’ll be back. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Food was very good, service was nice, server recognized our kids wanted the fruit in the Sangria, so when she brought me lemons she also brought some sliced strawberries. Sangria was good. Gave atmosphere 3 stars as the have their name on the tables and chairs, seemed cheezy. We had the Burrito Verde, Enchiladas Suprema with a cheese sauce vice red sauce and everything on the side, Enchiladas Verde, and Classic Trio with no sauce. Everything was heat hot. The Verde sauce had good flavor and mild heat. They also make their own hot sauce, and it’s something to be tried. This is our new alternate place to go, Soup and taco is still our favorite.

Got the chance to stop in for dinner with the family. Close to Mary Washington (literally across the street). It’s a great alternative to going into downtown because of the ample parking. Inside it’s Beautifully decorated which created a great atmosphere. The service was great! And the food came out fast! The food was delicious and the menu has many options to choose from

I stopped at Robles, for a late lunch, on a whim. I’ve passed it many times since Robles opened, but not eaten there until now. To be sure, I looked up their menu on Google before going in. The Queso Birria tacos caught my eye. I have never tried Birria (a Mexican/Texmex style of preparing meat). The description said it came with broth for dipping, and on this cold day, that appealed to me. I entered and was seated right away. My server, Farah, greeted me with a warm smile and took my drink order. I explained I was also ready to order and she promptly took my order. My food came about 10 or 15 minutes later. It looked pleasantly inviting (see picture). It turned out to be delicious! There were 3 tacos w/dipping broth and fresh sliced raddish. The tortillas were crisped and tasted as if they were seared with a bit of broth. The dish was hot out of the kitchen. The filling was Birria w/ Queso, diced onion, and cilantro. I dipped one in the broth (a savory broth with some herbs, super tasty!) and my first bite was soooooo good! I gobbled up my food faster than I’d like to admit! It was, DEFINITELY, comfort food! My server, Farah, checked on me twice to ensure I was taken care of. We had a pleasant conversation about their food as I prepared to pay my check. My food was so good I know I will go back!
I’ll probably order the same dish and try others as I go! I, highly, recommend Robles!!!

1st visit here. Noon on a Friday and the place was empty.?
Extensive menu. The restaurant has been totally remodeled again. Very nice. Very clean and the staff attentive.
Cori dip appetizer was disappointing. Mostly a cheese dip. The wife’s qusea tacos were very good. My supreme burger was not very good. Out of the box tasteless burger patties. A small dab of some type of house sauce. The onion rings and fries were good. Generic ketchup is not up to par with Heinz.
We may return and sample other Mexican food on the menu. Other Mexican restaurants closer to home with much better food.
*Don’t forget to ask for the 10% military discount. It almost offsets the state and Stafford county thieves tax.

*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don’t get to pick one. We don’t care about your allergies, vibes, how “chill” you feel, or the need for gluten free food.

Simply put, this place is amazing from top to bottom. We have lived in this area for over 25 years and are always looking for a new restaurant. Today we wanted Mexican food and we saw a place with a fairly high rating on Google so we went. So glad we did. So much so that we agreed it is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. First, when we arrived we got a table immediately. Everyone was very friendly. Then, our server was at the table within seconds to ask about drinks and he continued to be very attentive and friendly the entire time. The food was better than any other Mexican place around here. And the prices are really reasonable. They have specials every day which make it even less expensive. We will most certainly be going again the next time we want Mexican food. Its top notch.

Been to their other restaurants and was excited to finally try the newest one. Everything was so delicious! Fresh guacamole, chili rellenos and Mexican chicken salad! Was amazing! And our server Fernando made the best Paloma! Can’t wait to return.

The food was very good and hot! They have a huge menu, lots to try! The chips and salsa were good. Ask for the house hot salsa instead.

Great Mexican food with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and they offered a good selection of food. The ceviche appetizer was absolutely delicious and the potato skins were generous with the cheese and bacon. The strawberry margarita could have been better as there wasn’t much strawberry flavor but overall a good experience.
