And a darn good one too!
Called ahead and put an order in for the Honey BBQ Chicken Melt with a side of Mac n Cheese, and an appetizer order of the Onion Rings. Total coming to 50 cents short of $30, not bad but not amazing.
Pick up was nice and easy and the female staff member there, super cute, very sweet, felt like she liked she’d have made a good Disney Princess. All rainbows, dancing animals, and singing. Adorable.
Back home I dug into the meal and was not disappointed. While there were no tiny elves to cut up my sandwich, or birds to serenade me, I was quite happy. Onion rings were crispy outside, lots of juicy onion inside, and the zesty sauce included cut back that oily flavor nicely. The sandwich was a tad bit sweeter than I expected, but the saltier bacon and savory cheddar cheese helped combat that. Still quite good. And of course the renowned Mac Factor mac was delicious! Cheesy, cheesy, and so very cheesy. Was a little on the cool side, but I did get to it last.
Overall, a very satisfying meal that I felt I got my monies worth on. And, they have Princess Deli on call, good times.

We waited 45 minutes for a simple order for 3 people. It wasn’t that busy. The food was fair at best, and we ordered 1/2 dozen wings, received a dozen and were charged for the dozen. I didn’t even make an issue of that because the wait time was so ridiculous, I just wanted to get out of there. We traveled off the thruway for a “quick stop” due to the reviews.. don’t be fooled!

I ordered the fried haddock and fries. The fries were disgustingly salty. They were inedible. The haddock was overcooked and dry. I thought it would be a fresh piece of fish. But it’s similar to the precooked crap you buy from the grocery store in the frozen section. This meal was an overpriced waste of money! Threw it all in the trash!!

This place has the best food !! And the service is amazing !! I had a very delicious chocolate chip cookie given to me bc I said it smelled good in there and didn’t have my wallet so I was going to come back so i could try one and the lady was soo nice and gave me a freee piping hot fresh baked cookie highly recommend the southern charm calzone ! Can’t wait to try more !
