I wish they were open longer than 11am-2pm because I would come all the time! Oh my goodness this place is amazing. And GREAT prices! It was $17.50 for me and my husband. He got the Bleu Burger. I haven’t seen him eat a burger so fast. I got a bowl of chili. The chili is out of this world. Homemade. The best chili I’ve ever had. There’s so much to look at when they sit you down. Service is great.

Had lunch right when they opened. We got the Cubi dog and the triple decker club. This is a great option to have in a museum. The vibe of the restaurant is what sets this place apart. Walk around and enjoy the history.

Convenient place to sit down, mid tour, to have a bite to eat. It’s a soup, sandwich and salad menu place. I liked the accessibility to the museum- inside – so we didn’t have to leave the premises. I think its suppose to look like an officer’s club ??? The food was reasonably priced and tasted good.

Overall very good experience; they have more limited hours than the museum, so I never got the chance to try them until my last visit. The host was very prompt to seat us, we were seated in the front open section facing the museum; the interior section is much more interesting with decor. I’ll definitely come back when they are less busy to sit inside. The host did provide us menu’s, we began looking through and had our drink served by the waitress relatively quickly. They took our orders about ten minutes later, the food came out in good time. I had ordered the Cuban with chips. The sandwich was pretty good, better than expected honestly. It was packed with meat and flavor along with being the perfect size. The chips were a nice side, albeit premade bagged chips. I’ll give them credit for choosing quality chips. I would go back again definitely; I would just make sure to sit inside.

Waitress (Susan?) was great. Hostess that sat us, not so much. Acted like having customers coming in were a waste of her time and took her away from her phone.

Had the Black & Bleu burger. Shared with girlfriend. Made us both sick. Had headaches and diarrhea because of it. I know this because it’s the only thing we ate that day (other than coffee and toast at home before going to the museum).

The reviews here are mixed but I’m not sure why. This needs to be shut down, or improved. Improve the food, improve the hostess (fire her and get someone else. We watched her seat others, and along with us, it was immediately apparent she was frustrated at having to do her job and would just throw menus down on the table and say, without looking at the customer, youre server will be with you shortly, then wander back to the front hostess station and grab her phone.) Improve the hours. Three hours a day, the only option without leaving the museum? What a waste… and to get sick because of it. Some other reviewer posted pictures of cockroaches and I believe it. I think management doesn’t care about this place. The only redeeming quality is the atmosphere.

We were exploring the aviation museum and ate at Cubi Bar Cafe. There was no wait. The waitress was very professional and provided excellent service. My husband and I ordered chili which tasted good and we were told that all soups are prepared fresh, don’t come out of the can. We also had Cuban panini. The prices were reasonable, the food was tasty and the decor to match the aviation environment. Great experience overall!

This is a great little place to get a quick bite to eat. However, we went for The Cuan Sandwich and they said they haven’t had it in about 5 months. Heartbreaking because that was why we drove there in the first place. The selection is good and the prices are reasonable though. Please bring the Cuban Sandwich back!!!!

A must visit at the Naval Aviation Museum! I agree with the other reviewers; the food quality is on par for the price, the service is great and fast, but you should eat here to check out everything hanging on the walls and ceiling. There is so many plaques from different crews.

I had the signature chili hotdogs, and it was good, and filling enough. The best part of eating here was chatting with my kiddos about everything they see hanging on the walls.

The waitress was very polite but getting the food took a long time, while waiting for food we noticed a cockroach laying on the ground seemingly not moving. The food was subpar and when finished we discovered the cockroach was moving trying to flip over. While it’s known that this is a restaurant on a military base, I would hope that they check for bugs like that and treat if they find any.

Cubi Bar Cafe is a good fit in  the Naval Aviation Museum.
Saw a number of former naval personnel meandering thru the cafe looking for Logos, photos, listings, or  other signs of their previous military organizations or times in service.  Paraphernalia & mementos  of  military units are displayed throughout the restaurant.  Around noon while touring the museum on the main floor,  we decided it was time  to eat.  But where?   Golf Club or here in Museum.  The Cubi Bar Cafe was nearer,  just over on the other side of the exhibits.  The cafe was offering a special on its 6oz Angus Burger.  Our waitress gave friendly & helpful  service.  The Hamburger was savory.  It was served with Ruffles Chips.  No fries.
