* The Food: MIXED BOX XL PLATTER $25
3 FILETS, 8 SHRIMP, FRIES AND A SLICE OF BREAD (no hush puppies) The fish was well-seasoned and the hot sauce is a must—Definitely ask for extra.
* The Price: At $37 for one plate and BACON BOX FRIES, it’s expensive. You’re paying seafood prices, so see it as a treat.
* The Vibe: It’s a food truck with no seating, but it’s in a great area with other trucks to explore.
* Final Verdict: A tasty spot I’d recommend for an occasional indulgence, but not an everyday meal due to the cost.

For the price of the food I was expecting more than what I had gotten. The fish and shrimp plate had a nice presentation but for the catfish just did not hit it’s mark like I was expecting. The shrimp had great flavor which was a plus, probably because they were cooked in different grease, but the fries lacked a just touch of salt. One would think that the amount money you would be spending, they would at least offer you a drink included but no. I hope in the future that it might change for the better.

OMG everything was so fresh and delicious. Wish I had taken a pic of how beautiful the food was cooked to perfection. Presentation was 10 out of 10 . Taste and customer service was also definitely 10 out of 10. We got 3 of the XL boxes it came with catfish, shrimp, fries, and toast. I also got the small box with the same foods. And a small box of catfish nuggets. Lots of food for 3 adults a teen and a child for about $100 so prices are definitely fair. I found my new fish spot! Normally, I would gate keep a spot this precious, but please go and support this food truck! You’ll love it!

My sons treated me to lunch here and we shared the XL mixed box. Included were 3 large, fried to golden, flaky perfection and 8 matching HUGE crispy fried shrimp. Also included were 2 crunchy hushpuppies that are in close running for my favorite anywhere I’ve had them. The herbs and spices are delicious and flavorful but not overpowering. Our meal also came with hot, salty fries topped with herbs that left us wishing we’d all ordered our own plates. Haha. We will definitely be back to try everything!! The people working are so friendly and there are picnic benches to sit and eat.

LISTEN!!! I can’t provide a picture because the food is no longer present with us. I ordered on Ubereats because I didn’t feel like leaving my dorm room but once Ubereats canceled my order, I called the business to see what happened. A guy answered the phone and explained to me that he’d started making my order already and because I didn’t want this business to take a loss, I drove there. LET ME TELL YOU!!! This food was a 2000/10 and if you don’t believe me go try it for yourself. I don’t even like hush puppies but theirs was so good, unfortunately they were out of shrimp but tomorrow I’m trying for sure

This place really gave some of my favorite spots in Houston a run for its money. I have to say that I am enjoying my college experience in Killeen and I have to say that among the many restaurants in this small area, I am finding some Gems.

Absolutely delicious. Seriously we saw them on Google, was craving catfish. Excellent crispy. .. we shared 1 basket and were very full.

Everything was fried perfectly! The catfish was some of the best I’ve had in the area. The shrimp and hushpuppies were also really good. The seasoning comes through with every bite. The fries could’ve used some salt. You get a large portion for the amount you pay, which is hard to come by in its economy at times. The only thing missing was some bread. If you are looking for some good fried fish, stop by Catfish Box. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s a little on the pricey side, but the owner does give a loyalty card that kicks in after just 5 visits. The owner is very friendly, and, again, the food is DELICIOUS.

I had this delivered so I cant speak for the service or what the restaurant is like. The food was absolutely amazing. I am a picky catfish person and it was so good! I don’t know what brand hot sauce they use but it was perfect with the fish. The tartar sauce paired perfectly. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, they came right out of the tail. It was definitely worth it!! I will be ordering from there again.

the catfish xl combo was great and filled me up which isn’t easy cause I’m a big guy it is easily the best catfish in Killeen and very well SEASONED the food was excellent the service was more of a friendly chat. which was refreshing when compared to the same old order get receipt wait in line standards from other places the atmosphere was friendly and fun all in all 10 out of 10
