I went here for Boys State; therefore, I only got this Dining Hall and the occasional Starbucks available for my use. I also am not sure if this dining hall was serving some sort of modified menu while I was here for Boys State. That being said, I’m not going to sugarcoat it. I will start off by saying the food here is very consistent, and not in a good way. The day they served the orange chicken and sesame noodles, the orange chicken had a very distinct sweet and sour taste, while the sesame noodles had a stale, brown sugary aftertaste. The grilled chicken served here was very dry, and I always make sure to look twice when I make my salad. For breakfast, the French toast sticks were meager and they also served the same ham, eggs, and potatoes, which all were very “meh.” The overall picture is that the food here is that the food here isn’t borderline terrible, and has quite a decent range of items, but the quality is very, very mediocre. Almost nothing to write home about. That is not to say there aren’t good things about this dining hall. The fried items (fries and chicken tenders) tasted decent enough, they have a very, very ROBUST breakfast cereal selection, and if you want “real” tasting food and not typical american fast food, go to the allergy line! I went here once during my time here, and while the cubed beef looked suspicious, it tasted amazing. For desert, there is also some decent items here. There’s a decent selection of popsicles, ice cream bars and ice cream sandwiches. Just make sure not to eat too much, I knew someone at boys state who ate 9 in one day and threw up. All in all, this place is a very
“run of the mill” establishment. The food here is definetly not winning any awards, but (at least for me) will not give you a hard time after eating either.

Really good dining hall, not much options for vegetarians but the ambience and the people inside are the best. They charge $15.95/- for unlimited food that’s pretty much a steal deal.

Currently a Mercer Student using Rider as Housing.
Lately Daly’s has made several improvements which include a Quesadilla Station, Teaching Kitchen (one where the students make the food) and a Gluten Free/Vegan Station alongside its Pizza/Pasta, Salad, Hot Food, Grille and Asian stations. Also Sushi Friday (to me) makes this one of the best dining halls in New Jersey.

It is what you make of it. Typical dining hall food. Not very good quality. Meat is usually dry and overcooked and the salad bar gets very repetitive and oftentimes soggy, but the soft serve ice cream machine is great. The music/radio is so loud though, makes for an unenjoyable atmosphere.

Good food options. Very crowded after 1:30PM and 6PM. Lunch Dinner rush. Also can’t get decent breakfast cause of change over, so get there before 9:45.

The food quality is consistently poor. Healthy options are very limited, and the salad bar is often empty or not fresh. There have also been many instances of food being inedible.
