Seriously….run so fast to eat at this Mexican Restaurant. My first time here and literally everything I put into my mouth was delicious. But seriously…everything! Fresh chips and bright fresh salsa. I ordered the flautas which came with 4 in the order and rice and beans….more on that in a minute. They let me get 2 shredded chicken and 2 shredded beef. The beef was insane….I usually get chicken…those were terrific as well. The beans were perfection, incredible!!!!! It was a real fiesta in my mouth…by far the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Fried ice cream was delightful as well. This is my place now. I told my husband that if I go missing someday, check at La Salsa 2 first because chances are I haven’t been abducted, just enjoying some tasty Mexican food. 10/10, would recommend.

Friday night with the family. About 6 pm no wait. Plenty of seats. Steak tacos with cilantro and cheese were excellent. Fajita Taco salad, Nacho Supreme, chimichangas, burrito were all very good . Prices were ok . Chips and salsa were not bad, but definitely better elsewhere. Margaritas are good.

Disappointed. They no longer have cucumber salsa and fresh tortillas. Now they have watered down store bought salsa… Pitiful Old tortillas nobody wants.
$2.50 for a can of soda. Had to request a cup of ice. She wasn’t thrilled to get it. Thankfully, another waiter came by to refill my water. He deserved her tip. He also brought us silverware.
I had ordered a combo with chile relleno. My order was only chile relleno. Greasy. Had too many seeds left in pepper but I could eat mine.
Bill ordered his normal steak fajitas. It was more like a fajita grease pit. The steak, onions and peppers were literally swimming in grease. Bill requested for them to drain it. He ate about 1/4 and was done. We paid the bill and were happy to leave. We will not be returning.
A meal our stomaches will remember…not in a good way. As the stomach turns…..

This restaurant just moved in where Senor Sols used to be by State Fair, and I can’t recommend it enough! From being one of the few places around to have some Mexican breakfast options such as chiliquiles, the menu has a vast spread that even the most picky of eaters won’t have a problem finding something to enjoy. The staff is friendly and attentive, the prices don’t break the wallet, and the margaritas are phenomenal! It’s not too often I find a restaurant I can go to two days in a row, but La Salsa #2 fits the bill. Can’t wait to be back again very soon

For the price, the food was decent along with the service. I ordered the Chimichanga and it was fairly large and the steak was delicious. The inside of the restaurant itself was very Mexican meets diner experience, but was clean and quiet. Definitely worth a shot if you like authentic Mexican food!

Wanted to try a new spot for once and La Salsa 2 unfortunately did disappoint. A small, mexican restaurant on the corner like this should be chill with a low-moderately priced menu, good food, good drinks, good vibes. This was NOT that! The menu was overpriced for everything we ordered, the restaurant was very dark/sticky/dusty, food was bland and lacked anything vibrant, we got charged for chips and salsa without being notified (we didn’t ask for them either, they just automatically serve them to you), and the margaritas were VERY syrupy. The waitress was kind of nice, but seemed like she really didn’t want to be there at all. I don’t really blame her, by the end of our dinner we didn’t either!

Another hidden ‘Stallis gem! Rather small but cozy Mexican spot with delicious, authentic dishes (recommend the mole) and tasty Margaritas (very yummy but not too much kick – perfect for that occasional lunch cocktail!).

Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Honestly the BEST pork taco I’ve ever had. Soft corn tortilla. Seasoned pork. Cilantro. Onion.
Not to be rude, typically, a taco is a taco but this was exceptional.
