Best bagel in NY state. The bagels are delicious. Nice mixture of flavors, a lot of options and a friendly service. The coffee is also delicious. Don’t forget to try also the muffins and the cookies!!! Its really worthy!

On our crusade for the best NY style bagel on LI, we stopped at The Eccentric Bagel on the way to the Hamptons from the North Fork. One of the best bagels that we had while in Long Island. The crust was crackly, the crumb was dense and chewy…in short these were some of the best bagels. I will say that the breakfast bagel sandwiches are huge and should be shared. Definitely would stop for a bagel if you’re in Shelter Island.

I had the MOST AMAZING bagels ever at eccentric bagel. If you have not been here yet you MUST GO! The bagel sandwiches are unreal, I had the everything with cream cheese avocado and lox. The bagel was the perfect texture and consistency. I could also tell the ingredients were of the highest quality. Do not forget to try their nitro cold brew and dessert bagel!!!! Amazing experience and a must visit!

The Eccentric Bagel isn’t just place for breakfast, brunch or lunch –it’s a total experience! We loved the colorful and clever decor, the super fun staff, and the home fries and eggs hit it out of the park! Darryn Weinstein has truly mastered the best bagel I’ve ever had and I’m a New Yorker! In addition to the basics, I tried as many of the incredible special flavors as I could. The Jalapeno-Cheddar and the Smoked Bacon left a lasting impression. And don’t miss the Nitro Cold Brew…it’s really frothy and yum! Absolutely worth a day trip!

Best Breakfast spot! The big Israeli flag in the window caught my eye right away, and I’m so glad I stopped in. The bagels are insanely good—fresh, flavorful, and not your average bagel. The staff couldn’t be friendlier, they make you feel right at home. Definitely my go-to when in the Hamptons.

What a delicious place to grab breakfast or lunch for the beach! We enjoyed our wraps – especially Turkey, Egg Muenster cheese, and avocado – the best everything bagel I have ever tasted!! Toasted with scallion bacon cream cheese – great coffee and friendly attentive service. Can’t wait to try more of their menu items – definitely a great stop on Shelter Island!!
