Had the burger with peppers, onions pepper cheese. Oh my. So good. Fries were delicious too. Met the owner super nice guy. The place is super clean from the moment you enter. Staff are amazing. Atmosphere top notch. Definitely will be back. Wont have to eat dinner, I am still full. Hidden gem.

We had just visited the Whitney Museum and were very hungry, so we lucked out when discovered this cute, little family run restaurant nearby. My brother, his wife and I ate inside and really enjoyed the food as well as the friendly service. We each ate various types of deep fried seafood and enjoyed every bite. I enjoyed my fried crabmeat sandwich. In addition to good food, Bonnie’s has a full bar for alchohol drinks. We highly recommend Bonnie’s Restaurant!

This burger was thick and juicy on a sesame seed toasted bun with the regular toppings with mayo. My burger had fried shrimp put inside and all around you couldn’t beat it. The wife had the jumping jack and I took half of hers and it was awesome too. I would highly recommend this as a hidden Gem. So if your in the area and your looking for something off the I 10. This is your place. The sports atmosphere and music was great.

I asked what made Bonnie’s burger a signature burger. I was told it was made fresh, unlike everything else that’s cooked from frozen. Well, it didn’t taste like a fresh burger patty, nor was there anything signature about it. It’s a plain Jane burger. Sadly, for the cost of the meal, I would’ve enjoyed fast food better… which I refused to eat. The kitchen was receptive to the feedback, so let’s hope they’re food quality improves.

Stopped here after a recommendation from the Whitney Plantation tour guide. We were promptly welcomed and seated. Tried a few items- loaded fries, breaded catfish, grilled shrimp, wings, and 3 different burgers. Everything was outstanding- came out quickly and hot. All dishes were seasoned well. One of the best meals we had while enjoying NOLA area. Highly recommend.

Mid afternoon, missed lunch, hungry and just wanted good food. This restaurant was outstanding, we had planned on just ordering shrimp on a bun and fish and shrimp in a box. The waitress suggested we try their gumbo. Everything was very good, but the gumbo was spectacular, perfect consistency, smooth clean flavors. Non of the gumbos I’ve had thus far in LA even came close. It is a must try. Sincerely
