We waited roughly 20 minutes for our food although we were the only ones in the restaurant. I believe there was only one lady doing the cooking at the time. We weren’t rushed so it wasn’t an issue, but it could be for others. There are only a few indoor dining seats available so if you have a group don’t expect to eat at the location.
The schedule is very odd as well, as they are only open from 10-3 on weekdays, and closed on weekends. I think if the widened their hours and lowered the price, it could really expand the audience and exposure. They are missing out on the highschool students just down the street as well as all working individuals who are on a typical 9-5 schedule.
These folks make some good stuff. They got all kinds of amazing looking foods, but I ordered their Pico De Gallo, like a weighty fuit and veggie salad with chili lime salt and chamoy, and then I got a ham and turkey torta. It was excellent – thick and tasty and also quite heavy. Half was a full meal for me and I’m a big guy.
I planned on saving most of the Pico for the next day or so but it’s mostly gone already. That fruit is incredible. Guy wasn’t kidding when he said this fruit is perfectly ripe.
They were incredibly friendly and helpful and I appreciate their kindness.
What they’re offering is exceptional and you’ll probably still be surprised at how good this stuff is.
Update 2023: they moved to a bigger suite with tables. Make sure to check them out.
