Unfortunately I can’t give this more than 1 star due to the restaurant messing up my order on back to back days for takeout.

I ordered a Wilson pizza which does not have bacon or ham on it, however I was shocked that they put it on the pizza.

The second day, I ordered a custom pizza and instead of jalapeños they put green bell peppers, thinking I wouldn’t notice.

These are expensive personal pizzas and messing these up twice in a row is unacceptable.

The buffalo wings are decent – little soft and not crispy but sauce is good.

Hearth baked turnover is also decent when they don’t burn it (they burned it twice, once was good).

Roosevelt fries are good – pretty crispy and good dipping sauces!

Yuzu hop water is delicious.

Overall, food is fine when they don’t mess up, but their track record was not good.

I ate at Republic Pi for the first time on Friday, May 16, 2025, with my wife and three other adults. To be honest, I wasn’t overly excited about dining here because I am not a huge fan of “wood-fired pizza” concepts, but I was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Pi Bites as an appetizer and they were tasty but the best part was the thick cheese sauce they were served with. My wife and I ordered two entrees to split. We opted for the Wilson (pizza) and the RF Muffaletta (sandwich). Like I said, I am usually a critic of wood-fired pizza, but the Wilson made me a believer—but perhaps the creativity of the pie itself has a lot to do with that. It was a garlic cream-based pizza with chicken and potatoes! Trust me, the combination worked out just fine. The pizza was rich, bold, and savory. The only thing better than eating a few slices in the restaurant was eating another slice later that night. The sandwich was equally as good. The meat was plentiful/flavorful and the bread was so soft and fresh that it made such a treat to eat. The French fries—which are cut in a spiral/corkscrew shape—have a delightful crispiness and are perfectly seasoned…a truly unique fry! The service was great and the interior of the restaurant is charming. As we left Republic Pi at the end of the meal, I told my wife that we will have to return again one of these days.

Every time I have been to Republic pi has been a good time and I’ve always left in a better energy than I came in. Everyone who works here is kind, personable and seems to genuinely enjoy their job. Having worked in the service industry myself, that is a tall order. You can tell that it comes from the top and that the staff is Loved and treated well – always a bonus to witness happy humans while at work.
try their new specialty pizza – whatever it is when you make it in. Their creations are superb. Oh! And the homemade soups when you just need something small but filling and warming this wet time of year? The Guinness stew is amazing. Cheers!

Amazing brick oven pizza. They have unique and tasty flavor combinations, but you can also customize your toppings. Their Pi bites are an amazing appetizer as well as their chicken wings. Also the turnover dessert was to die for! There was no sharing going on. We love the environment in there but they also have cozy outdoor seating as well. The service has been great every time we’ve gone, very friendly staff. Pretty much every time my son has a football game at Ferris or Hart Field we go out to eat here afterwards. Yummy food and drinks for all!

Restaurant week is an awesome time to check this place out. Great food and great service. Got seated quickly and server was there almost instantly. Prices are reasonable.
Parking lot kind of small.

First I have to mention the food quality was outstanding! Fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The service was very attentive though our server forgot a few things but was quick to acknowledge it and returned with the requested items within a reasonable amount of time. The place was very busy and buzzing with good energy. Republic Pi checks all the boxes for me and I can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu.

Stopped here for a spontaneous lunch and I’m so glad we did.

We shared the Cobb salad and Wilson pizza. The salad was packed full of fresh ingredients and the house made Gorgonzola dressing was soo good! The pizza had smoked chicken, thinly sliced Yukon gold potatoes, green onions, and roasted garlic. I love Republic’s garlic cream sauce base. Also enjoyed was a flight of local beers.

Service was fast and friendly!

This is by far my family’s #1, go-to pizza spot!

Great atmosphere, wood fired pizza and a variety of salads.

Love the firepits outside.

Does not disappoint!

Southhill’s Republic Pi tosses boldly-flavored wood-fired pizza (no wonder, it’s a sister restaurant to Flying Goat). Roosevelt swirl fries are hearty and delicious. Sip draft beers, watch sports on 4 large tv screens. Service is fast and friendly. 3-season outdoor seating. This place has bragging rights – the food is damn good.

Ordered two pizzas over the phone. One vegetarian pizza and ordered another and specified NO chicken. No other modifications or add ons. Picked the pizza up and drove home and realized it had chicken. Went back to republic pi and explained what happened and they remade it (no biggie mistakes happen)- drove home again and started eating it and realized it STILL had chicken after unfortunately eating a couple bites. Haven’t eaten meat in 17 years. Picked the pieces of meat off into a napkin to go back to the store and show them. The manager seemed apologetic and remade the pizza for us (for the third time). But after having it made wrong the first time and getting chicken on it again it sort of seemed like it was done purposefully (either picked off the first pizza or done on purpose bc they were upset about having to remake it) ☹️ How does that happen twice in a row? Had to drive there three times. Super sad after almost two decades of not eating meat.
