This is authentic puertorican flavor! The empanadas are packed, the rice was so delicious like the grandmas make!! The pasteles were stuffed and delicious!! The natural juices were definitely top of the line! If you like Mavi, here is where you need to go.

I ordered octopus salad it was amazing good just like if I was in Yabucoa ordering from a restaurant not to mention the arroz con gandules and beef steak with onions really yummy. Good amount of food too! They also have natural juice from like tamarind, passion fruit, mango and many other flavors. Will recommend……

Came here awhile ago , but looking up places to eat so thought I’d leave a review since this spot came up … it took the one time I went to never go BACK . As I was placing my order felt really awkward, bc the lady gave stand off energy, whatever I asked for extra mayo ketchup since they give very little and right away the lady with a nasty attitude says it’s not free you need to pay , and I’m just aggravated at this point I said “that’s fine , ring me up “ and by then her husband is standing next to her both just staring at me . Like girl please be a better business owner and be friendly just bc someone ask for an extra sauce , it doesn’t give you the entitlement to assume paying would be an issue . I would rather drive outside of plant city to get Puerto Rican food than to stop there again . The food was ok but nothing amazing . I hope not many customers had to feel the way I did .

The food is AMAZING. But the only thing is that if you get the fried pork you only get like 4 pieces of carne frita. But this was the BEST arroz con gandules I’ve ever had. It was so good, you could taste the recao in it. The rice portion was perfect, but the carne frita I think 6 to 8 pieces would have been fair for the price. The mayo ketchup was also 35 cents for a tiny container. But guys everything was FRESH, the Amarillos were perfect, even the side salad was fresh. Would definitely recommend. I’m gonna definitely miss that rice. God Bless you guys.

I had a little bit of everything mofongo was awesome carne frita was very tender empanadillas de marisco was outstanding packed with seafood. limber de Pina was very good. Prices were good. I drove an hr to go eat there and definitely will do it again.
