If you need a perfect date spot , this place can deliver. The steak (44 oz. dry-aged porterhouse) of course has to be superb and it is (on par with Wolfgang). So apart from the flawless steak, we had beef tartare (delightfully chunky instead of the usual finely chopped), Ceasar salad (it’s ok but maybe will do the Wollensky salad next time), free amuse-bouche (salmon croquette), sidings of lobster mac n’ cheese and creamed spinach. We ate in the Grille & Lounge section instead of the main dining coz there’s a jazz band playing but I think even without the live music I prefer this area coz it seems cozier. The main dining area though has a number of private rooms with reasonable minimums.

I and my husband really enjoyed our dining experience here. The food was seriously good — our steak was cooked exactly the way we wanted, tender and full of flavor. The ambiance was cozy and relaxing, perfect for a nice dinner date. The staffs were all friendly and accommodating, and they made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The service was smooth and attentive without feeling rushed. Overall, we had such a great time celebrating our 13th Anniversary and would definitely come back! Highly recommended!

Had our Valentine’s dinner here. I love the ambience. Quiet but not intimidating. We had grilled octopus which was perfectly cooked and dry aged ribeye which was well seasoned and had good searing on both sides. What made our experience memorable was Sev’s amazing hospitality. His customer service is topnotch and deserves commendation. Would definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

The highlight of the entire evening was undoubtedly the steak; specifically, the USDA PRIME BONELESS RIBEYE (16 oz). While the family enjoyed the Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye and the Cajun Rubbed Strip (wasn’t able to take photos ✌️) the Boneless Ribeye was the clear winner for flavor and bang-for-your-buck value. We’d come back just for that steak alone!

A note on wine: We appreciated the option to bring our own bottle with a reasonable P2,500 corkage fee, or have the fee waived by purchasing a bottle from their extensive list.

A few minor misses (like the Foie Gras), but the world-class beef makes this a worthwhile destination.

Overall Verdict: Highly recommended for steak lovers. The Boneless Ribeye is a must-order.

Smith & Wollensky BGC delivered an outstanding steakhouse experience. The steak was perfectly seared—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The selection of savory steak sauces paired really well and elevated the meal. The atmosphere was classy, and the attentive service from Shirley and Vincent made the experience exceptional from start to finish.

Thank you to the team at Smith & Wollensky for a wonderful dining experience. The service was professional and attentive, and every dish was beautifully prepared.

The lobster bisque, in particular, may well be one of the best in Manila.

We truly enjoyed our lunch and look forward to visiting again.

Special thanks to our server, Sev, for the attentive and thoughtful service.

I had an outstanding dinner at Smith & Wollensky, a classic steakhouse that delivers exactly what you hope for—big flavors, impeccable service, and a timeless atmosphere. I ordered the dry-aged ribeye, which arrived with a perfect char and a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth interior. Every bite was rich, tender, and deeply flavorful. Service was polished and friendly, with servers who clearly know their menu. Smith & Wollensky remains a top choice for anyone craving a flawlessly executed steak dinner.

I’ve been to Smith & Wollensky twice now, and both visits were excellent.

We started with the Caesar Salad—rich, creamy, and exactly how I like it—and the Wollensky Salad, both well-executed. The Grilled Octopus was cooked perfectly, and the Lobster Bisque was flavorful and satisfying. A standout surprise was the Bone Marrow Dirty Rice—the first time I’ve tried this dish, and it was amazing (something I’d love to copy at home!).

Of course, the star of the evening was the USDA Prime 28-Day Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye—simply outstanding. For dessert, we indulged in their gigantic Chocolate Cake and the New York Cheesecake, both worth saving room for.

The ambiance strikes a nice balance between formal and relaxing, and the service was impeccable. Easily one of the top steak restaurants on my list.

Although I rarely eat steak, the quality at Smith & Wollensky is exceptional. The serving sizes are somewhat modest, yet the flavor justifies the cost. The service, particularly from Mr. Clin, reflects the price point well. Best server ever

My husband and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at Smith and Wollensky and the food did not dissapoint!

We have a tradition of going to steak restaurants to celebrate and this year’s choice was one of the best.

Our order:
Wollensky Salad – 5/5
The bacon chunks were tender, juicy and not overly salty. It complimented the well dressed salad greens. The chunks of fried potato had a fluffy inside and crisp exterior.

28 day dry-aged bone-in rib eye – 5/5
It kinda looked small when they served it to us but this place is not meant for going all crazy with the food so It was okay. The steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare. Still red on the inside but not RAW and had the most perfect sear on the outside. May I suggest you try it with mustard and salt.

Sides:
Whipped potatoes 5/5 – creamy and smooth. Not for those who want texture. haha

Creamed spinach 4/5 – Runnier than most creamed spinach Ive tried before. Still the best complement to the steak and whipped potatoes.

(Maybe we should have gotten 1 wet and 1 not so wet side just for texture variations)

Gigantic Chocolate Cake: 5/5
ORDER IT! Must TRY! It’s huge but it’s not overly sweet. Take home the leftovers and you’ll be so glad you’re having it again the next day. haha
