I was really excited to try MAC’d OUT, but unfortunately it was a total let down. From the moment we stopped by, the lack of customer service – not even a greet was offered, discrepant pricing – prices posted are lowered from what we were charged, and the food itself left much to be desired – overcooked noodles with an artificial tasting cheese sauce. Overall, the experience fell flat, and I do not see myself returning.

I’ve had the pleasure of eating here twice now and it’s absolutely delicious. The workers are always very kind and the food stays hot long after you’ve bought it due to the way it’s packaged. I was once stuck waiting nearly an hour after getting my mac and cheese to actually eat it and it was still piping hot.
This is one of my favorite places to stop by when I’m in the area and one that comes highly recommended by me to friends and family.

I came out to the Plant Street Market recently, to see what all the hype was all about. Some places are so over-hyped, but this place was not one of those place. The Market was absolutely appropriately hyped. The quantity and quality of the food stalls within were banging.
One of those stalls I stopped at was this place, MAC’d OUT. Build your own mac ‘n’ cheese? These opportunities don’t come around very often. I had to take advantage.
There are a few curated macs that sounded pretty good, but I like personally being able to customize, so I dove in to the surprisingly affordable ala carte options.
I don’t remember exactly what I got, but I do know that chicken breast and caramelized onions were involved. Either way, they loaded up the tray, passed it through the rolling oven thing, and served it to me.
The portion size of this thing was shocking. I’m not complaining. Just be forewarned. You should share this thing with one or two other people. So much tender chicken, so many perfectly cooked noodles, all smothered with that classic colored cheese you’ve been eating since you were a kid, and topped with slightly charred bread crumbs that added the perfect texture to this dish.
This place, and the associated Chicago Stop, seemed to have employed young folk that couldn’t get off their phones for longer than 15 seconds at a time. Must have been a good TikTok they were watching. Again, not a detractor for me. Just don’t expect pleasant customer service.
If you like mac ‘n’ cheese, and the people out there who are mac fans are True mac fans, you will love this place. Come here. I’ll be back.

Really delicious! I ordered the Southwest and asked for bacon. I didn’t know they would replace the chorizo with bacon. My mistake. It was still really good.
I went back and ordered a chorizo with gorgonzola. Great value!

We found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Philadelphia mac and cheese, and the wife had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. We invited are girls and they had the bacon chicken explosion which she named herself and the pork belly. All of these were fantastic. I was very impressed with both the flavor of the mac and cheese sauce and the string is of the cheese that they put on top. I couldn’t find anything to complain about other than it took a little while to get the order. Apart from that no complaints. We will 100% be back. It would be nice too if they took Apple or Google pay. I would definitely recommend this for any mac and cheese aficionados.
My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible

They take a simple dish like Mac and Cheese and elevate it to the next level. Located in the Plant St. Market, their mac and cheese was rich and creamy and flavorful and the portion size was gigantic all with reasonable prices. I’ll be going back.

I HATE mac n cheese. Didn’t grow up eating it and never developed a taste for it. I decided to give these a try because why not, right?! Amazing! I made my own: chicken, broccoli, and mushrooms. It came with a crunchy breadcrumb (I assume) topping. It was so good and the portion HUGE. I ate 3 times from it.
Today I went for the second time and got one if their preselected ones, the Philly. Again, amazing! This second time around the portion was way less but I’m not complaining, it’s still a lot.
I love this place. While I may not go crazy for mac n cheese even after these. I will def go back just for theirs. The bar has been set high.

My boyfriend ordered some Mac and cheese from the Mac’d stand in Clermont that gets serviced through the pizza place. No one was at the stand for the first 20 minutes after he ordered, and after 40 minutes he goes up to get his money back and they say “oh it’s ready it’s right here.” He takes a bite and the noodles are crunchy and clearly not cooked anywhere near enough. Won’t be going to that location ever again (nor the pizza place since apparently they don’t know how to service customers).
