Bread is always soft and full of flavor, you can smell the bakery baked goods from outside walking into the bakery! Always smells amazing and the workers are always so nice! Love it here.

Historic panadería in San Benito. Living in Houston, I have high expectations at panaderías. Nice place if you’re in the area. Big selection. They pick your selection rattan the typical load your tray type. They have more than bakery items. Enjoy. Buen provecho.

It’s an RGV landmark. They serve consistently good bread. I normally only eat the empanadas. The last year, the amount of pumpkin puree in the empanadas has dwindled down to a tablespoon, or so it seems. I assume it’s because ingredients are so expensive and businesses are making cut backs where they can. It’s just disappointing but somewhat understandable. The ladies at the counter are wonderfully friendly. The barbacoa is expensive at about $15/lb the last time I visited, but that’s the case everywhere! The barbacoa especial is not as greasy and contains less fatty pieces. Overall, a place you can count on for good pan dulce and delish barbacoa for weekend breakfast!

This bakery is a family favorite! My son will be the 5th generation to enjoy all the wonderful pan dulce. Like his great grandpa loves the cookies and maranitos. Good buttercream frosting cakes

it is 5:15 pm and I paid for 2 conchas and 1 donut. None of the three pieces are soft, they are hard and taste horrible. They should not be charging for these, please save and rather go to Karina’s down the street.

Great place for bakery items. Definitely gotta get there early because of how busy it gets. We stop by every time we visit.

They have the best concha’s, sweet and so soft. All their other Mexican pastries are chefs kiss. Try it out when in San Benito.
